Yep that’s what happens when you’re a sell out

Speaker McCarthy did not sell out.

He was pushed into prioritizing our national security of funding our military and guardsmen at the border over balancing a $33 trillion dollar national debt.

You want 5 billion destitute citizens of the world to invade the United States in the midst of WW3 ???

Curious, your response.

I followed Trey Gowdy very closely on YouTube and CSPAN through the Obama Administration, especially the Benghazi probe ("what difference does it make?") and Fast & Furious arming El Chappo. Hillary's closet aid was Huma Abedi (wife to pedophile Anthony Weiner). Weiner's laptop received tens of thousands of Hillary's emails that the NYPD picked up.

You speak of Gowdy's support for the Intelligence Community with its 17 layers of liars. He worked well with Congressman Devin Nunez, to track the failures of Hillary and Comey, Clapper and Brennan.

I think your findings are unfounded, honestly, as if you were deliberately provocative, testing my mallear and memory.

Do you fear a responsible conservative and highly capable man of integrity in the Speakership?
Curious, your response. br br I followed Trey Gow... (show quote)

Absolutely not Counter. I respect your opinion and what you post. I was certainly not trying to provoke or test your knowledge. I simply stated my opinion of Gowdy. My choice of words may be poor and my memory might be clouded. For whatever reason, I view him as ineffective.

He just proclaimed he will not run for speaker again, and thus his power is gone, so what is next for the

failed politician?

One idea.

He could be press agent for the Biden Family Crime Syndicate.

More than likely though, He will probably try for chairman of the DNC.

A moderate, a RINO and a Bolshevik are all democrats by another name.

True. Didn't Trey Gowdy botch the Benghazi hearings against Hil-liary?

It is interesting you said that since the Speaker of the House does not have to be a member of Congress.

That is true. There is no constitutional requirement for the Speaker to be an elected member of Congress.

I'm of that opinion too. He's a bit too conciliatory for me - "we're all playing in the same band" type. I like him personally, but...

Trump or Jordan would be better/ just think how all the RINO’s would react and would anyone be able to break a promise to these guys, pity the fool that would side with dems on a critical vote 🤠

Trump is not a rhetorician and that, in my opinion, is a requirement for speaker. Jim Jordan is quick on his feet, possesses a good mind, speaks well and is tough. I like him.

You guys think everything is a joke. You don’t solve problems when you think everything is funny. Biden is sad, but everybody makes him the butt end of their jokes. It is a reflection of you not Biden. How did he get elected? Everybody sat on the curve and watched the parade go by. When the water gets hot enough, I bet you will move than. Americans, politically speaking, are the laziest people on the face of the planet. God has given is so much and we sit and watch it slowly go down the drain. Shame on you America!

McCarthy was just defeated by the 8 RINOS.

Had we shut down the government, our military would not be paid, nor would our border security.

We have many foreign enemies.

Matt Gates is a treasonable greasy little worm.

A good replacement for Speaker McCarthy would be Trey Gowdy.
Right?! It had nothing to do with the Dems voting as a block (gotta give them credit) to put a fork in him. I don't think he'd have ever made the deal to allow the whole "1 person can request vote to vacate" if Nancy Pelosi hadn't promised him she had his back. I'm still scratching my head as to why the Dems ditched Mac, but we're going to find out soon.

Are the 8 who voted from the Republican side RINOs? Don't think so.
Had we shut down the government... If we don't get a deal that makes sense, and that's the only way to fix things, then S T F'r Down. I served and I understand the hardship of many young troops right now, but if we don't fix the finances of the USA soon, they aren't going to make it anyway.
We have many foreign enemies... And more than a few running things right now here at home.
Matt Gates is a treasonable greasy little worm The jury is out on that one. We need to see what happens moving forward.
A good replacement for Speaker McCarthy would be Trey Gowdy... A few years ago, I might have agreed, but he seems to be happy making money playing expert for the MSM, so I think we can do better.
