He just proclaimed he will not run for speaker again, and thus his power is gone, so what is next for the
failed politician?
One idea.

McCarthy was just defeated by the 8 RINOS.
Had we shut down the government, our military would not be paid, nor would our border security.
We have many foreign enemies.
Matt Gates is a treasonable greasy little worm.
A good replacement for Speaker McCarthy would be Trey Gowdy.

It is interesting you said that since the Speaker of the House does not have to be a member of Congress.

That's an interesting point, since this would increase the Republican House majority.
There is much more to this story not being covered by the mainstream media:

Why Matt Gaetz led charge to remove Kevin McCarthy as House speaker

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/why-matt-gaetz-led-charge-to-remove-kevin-mccarthy-as-house-speaker/ar-AA1hEZzO#image=1The longstanding feud between Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) and Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) goes back much farther than Tuesday’s historic v**e to unseat McCarthy as House speaker.
Gaetz has long been McCarthy’s loudest opponent — dramatically v****g “present” rather than backing the California Republican’s bid for the gavel in January.
McCarthy has repeatedly claimed Gaetz has borne him a grudge for refusing his demand that McCarthy intervene in an ongoing House Ethics Committee investigation.
“He’s blaming me for an ethics complaint against him that happened in the last Congress. I have nothing to do with it,” McCarthy told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” just hours before he was v**ed out.
Gaetz, who is rumored to be eyeing a run for Florida governor in 2026, is being eyed by the ethics panel over allegations of sexual misconduct, illicit drug use and campaign finance violations as well as taking bribes. Many Congress members — including fellow Republicans — reportedly are eager to expel the Sunshine State politician if he is found guilty of wrongdoing.Gaetz is sewing the seeds for his own expulsion from Congress and prosecution in Florida - possible jail sentencing.

Who would you recommend as the next Speaker?

I actually like Byron Donalds and Chip Roy

Another RINO.
Who are you referring to? Trey Gowdy?
Gowdy is on Fox News, formerly a Republican House congressman, sponsoring very conservative debates against Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, her open Blackberry, thousands of deleted emails and protector FBI Director Comey. Gowdy has a memory like a steel trap and remains courteous and articulate.
Why do you think Trey Gowdy is a RINO?

He’s a strong backer of the intelligence community. I also remember his lack of results and less than impressive performance in the Fast and Furious investigation, IRS targeting of conservatives, and the B******i probe. He doesn’t have the balls it will take to get the job done.

Curious, your response.
I followed Trey Gowdy very closely on YouTube and CSPAN through the Obama Administration, especially the B******i probe ("what difference does it make?") and Fast & Furious arming El Chappo. Hillary's closet aid was Huma Abedi (wife to p*******e Anthony Weiner). Weiner's laptop received tens of thousands of Hillary's emails that the NYPD picked up.
You speak of Gowdy's support for the Intelligence Community with its 17 layers of liars. He worked well with Congressman Devin Nunez, to track the failures of Hillary and Comey, Clapper and Brennan.
I think your findings are unfounded, honestly, as if you were deliberately provocative, testing my mallear and memory.
Do you fear a responsible conservative and highly capable man of integrity in the Speakership?

Yep that’s what happens when you’re a sell out
