UCMJ stands for "Uniform Code of Military Justice" and has absolutely nothing to do with the Hyde ammendment being violated. Ewe are going to have to come up with another lie to justify your stupid hate.

Stop flattering yourself , you don’t pay for anything.
OK, a comment as ignorant as that deserves to be responded to...Maybe you can enlighten us as to just who does pay for those services that the military is attempting to provide to trans soldiers?

It all seems ridiculous to us that the military would pay for trans surgeries . In the past such individuals would be discharged . Perhaps this should be subject to further revue -- We all have equal rights and the military is feeling the pressure from the limits of how far they should go in the cause of equal rights .

All this blather about the 'transgenders' being denied their 'rights' - exactly what 'rights' are they being denied?

They've gone too far. In the military everyone does not have equal rights, per the constitution.

Well then let the promotions begin--send the soldiers to the payroll office with a letter from their first sargeant-- It worked for me back in the day- It will work now .

The promotions HAVE begun, Tom. Schumer stopped holding them up. These promotions are of field grade officers, anyway, not enlisted, NCO or below Colonel. The Senate has to okay the promotion of senior officers ( O-5 and up). Once more, the promotions have already begun going through, except that now Senators have to go on record as approving or disapproving.

Not very far. Anything that impairs the efficiency of the service will result in casualties at some point.
