Your post is ludicrous!! Soldiers deployed overseas are away from their families, who coordinate services and deal with traumatized citizens sleep in tents!! What - FEMA is better than our soldiers?? At least soldiers who sleep in tents are not costing tax payers for any luxury accommodations!! I find it sad that your post is so disgusting!!

The thing that crossed my mind about the Maui fires is that when there is a disaster in the contentinal US, you are often given a small trailer to live in for some time, like a year or so. You can't do that in Hawaii as you would need a large cargo plane to fly them in
I also heard they were putting up fire victims in the hotels in Maui as the tourists aren't being let in.
