Have you ever been to Lahaina or Maui? ALL of the hotels on Front Street have been burned to the ground. The west side of Maui has native Hawaiians who don't want anything to do with Lahaina. I find it sad that you want helpers to sleep in tents. They are away from their own families and coordinating services, sorting through donations, and living with traumatized Hawaiians.
I wish neither contempt nor discomfort for anyone, and I'm not even a Christian

They're away from their families? So what? It's their job.. That's what they signed up for.. And what's wrong with sleeping in tents? Where are victims of fire are sleeping?? Not in luxury hotels, I assume.. And really they should not be sleeping, but trying to help these poor families, who list EVERYTHING!..

Many years ago when I was with the 82nd Airborne out in the boondocks playing war games a tent was a luxury that we seldom had. Yes, we were far from home and paid a hell of a lot less than these Fema clowns.
