The sign of Jonah the Prophet was not three days and nights, it was being saved by a land breathing mammal. In the summer of 1964 at Santa Monica beach in California when I was two years old, a dolphin saved me from drowning. I was at the waters edge with my brother who was all of five years old. A wave went over my head and swept me out to sea. A dolphin swam underneath me and I held onto him and rode him to some rocks that were several hundred yards off shore. He bucked me off his back, I landed on the rocks and I was thinking I was going to have to eat seafood for the rest of my life and I was wondering how I was going to cook it. There was a man on the beach with binoculars and he spotted me. My father came and got me on a raft.

I hear Hollywood is looking for new writers, you should apply. Sci-fi has been a favorite of mine.

Roger Hodgson asked me to make him the "Toast of Hollywood". Supertramp is the "Rock that begat me". Deuteronomy 32:18. Science fiction becomes science fact. Truth is stranger than fiction.

Matthew 12:40
The Messiah response to the Pharisees and Scribes when asked about a sign from him.

For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish so will the son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

When the true Messiah comes, there will be multitudes of signs and wonders. There were no signs in Christianity about the Messiah. The sign that was given was not fulfilled. It says three days and three nights. It was about 72 hours. Jesus allegedly rose from the dead in about 36 hours.

Jesus wanted to be crucified because he thought it would fulfill scripture. The multitudes that followed him had him crucified, if the Jews had their way, he would've been stoned to death as a false prophet. He said to them, "Take up your cross and follow me". God does not approve of human suffering and sacrifice. There is no substitution for punishment for sin. Deuteronomy 24:16. "The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin". It takes at least 2-3 days to die by crucifixion, it can take as long as a week. If Jesus died within 9 hours, they would've had to break his legs which would break scripture. Psalm 34:20. "...He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken". Jesus' hands were not pierced, it was his wrists. Psalm 22:16. "...they pierced my hands and my feet". Jesus was cursed by God and hung on a tree. Deuteronomy 21:23. "...for he that is hanged is accursed of God". "They have tilted my holy cross". The cross is an X, a St. Andrews cross. The NT says Jesus rose on the third day. Friday evening to Sunday morning is 1 1/2 days, not three. In the NT, all the messianic prophecy Jesus did not fulfill was "nailed to the cross". Colossians 2:14. The crucifixion is the be all and end all of Christianity. Jesus died the "...deaths of the uncircumcised". Ezekiel 28:10. Jesus fulfilled no messianic prophecy, he did fulfill scripture about the modern day idol of Israel. The NT says you have to literally eat Jesus' body and drink his blood to be saved. John 6:48-58. "Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips". Psalm 16:4.

How did Isaiah fulfill Jesus' death.

Isaiah 53:8
He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

Isaiah says: "The righteous one, my servant, will bring a righteous standing to many people; and their errors he himself will bear." Indeed, Jesus' death provided the ransom so that the burden of sin can be lifted from all faithful people. —Isaiah 53:8, 11; Romans 4:25.

Isaiah 700 years before perfectly prophesied the coming of Jesus.

A Light Shining in Darkness

In the Bible, the coming of the Messiah is often associated with light. Let's explore the promises this light brings and what it means for how we live as people of the light while we wait for Jesus Christ's second coming.

Here is the one that followed that Jesus was the light.

John 1:
The Word Became Flesh
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. 8 He was not the light but came to bear witness about the light.

9 The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him.
11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him.
12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,
13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son[d] from the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 (John bore witness about him, and cried out, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.’”)
16 For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.
17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
18 No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.

The clock starts ticking on VWD Day when the Messiah gains the power to throw a lightning bolt. Isaiah 30:30. "And the Lord God shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm..." Isaiah 14:29. "...and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent". In the first Judgment, the Messiah will set her enemies on fire. Psalm 37:20. "But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away..." Psalm 97:3. "A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about". The timeline is a time, times and a half after VWD Day. Daniel 7:25, Daniel 12:7.

It stands for Vengeance, Wrath, and Destruction. It's the first Judgment and it's also called simply, The Day of Vengeance. The legal system in the city where I live is totally corrupt. They will all be cut off by fire. Psalm 141:6. "When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words: for they are sweet". Isaiah 10:1-4. This Judgment will include the judges, magistrates, clerks, lawyers, police, and 911 operators.

The Bible mentions the day of vengeance, let’s see, zero times.
