All he did was break a window, spit on officers, throw things at them and try to hit them with a pole...

But no worries, trump will pardon him because he's a patriot doing what patriots do

Sounds like an attempt to overthrow the US government by force to me.

Poor guy. If only he had assaulted and robbed someone in NYC. He would have been out on no cash bail within a day, and had no prison time.

It all depends what's on your mind when you commit the crime.

None of us supported violent action on January 6th. Those that acted violently should be tried and delivered appropriate punishment for that violence.

No one who broke a window and beat someone with a pole deserves to be locked up in prison for 3 years before their trial and then get a 4+year sentence. Meanwhile the revolving door criminal residents of our cities get nothing.

Nope. Angry white guys are dealt with severely.

Repeat inner city thugs get off largely unscathed, quickly.

It's racist!

Not to mention the BLM and Antifa insurrectionists who did much worse.

If assaulting a police officer is trying to overthrow the government, why do you consider George Floyd to be a hero?

Please re-read with an appropriate sprinkle of sarcasm.

George Floyd was a useless thug, at best a stain on society that died by drug overdose and subsequent bad decisions. Glad he is gone.

The "charged / convicted" policemen should be exonerated.
