No one who broke a window and beat someone with a pole deserves to be locked up in prison for 3 years before their trial and then get a 4+year sentence. Meanwhile the revolving door criminal residents of our cities get nothing.

Actually the crimes involved are in a very different category when the protest was about obstructing government, and the certification of the e******n no less.

And yes, crimes involving violence generally warrant being held until trials, and especially when there is 100% evidence in the form of videos as evidence. Violence against cops is a whole other level of beating "someone", and generally carries far harsher sentences.

He will be credited with time served, so no harm no foul.

Other cities, other crimes have nothing to do with these, although to say people that get busted for crimes get nothing is incorrect.
