why would anyone want to see trump.. he was the one who removed the regulations which possible could have prevented the derailment.. maybe they plan to gun him down? After all, they are right wingers..

73% of the people in Palestine voted for Trump. They know Biden's a mess and a liar. And he's a coward...he doesn't want to go there because he knows they like Trump. They know Trump is a "fixer" and he will have solutions, negotiate on their behalf with FEMA and will make sure these poor, suffering Americans will be taken care of.

What is Biden doing for them? He tried to refuse them aid - until Trump announced he was going there. Buttigieg said nothing when Biden made that announcement. He was busy breast-feeding his kid. 😐 And then Biden went to Ukraine to give them tax dollars that come from some of these very people he is ignoring in Ohio!

We have a putz for a president. These people know it, Trump knows it, and many voting Americans are seeing it.

Oh...and you're wrong about Trump being involved in this train crash. The rule (not law) that he deregulated was about brake safety and for trains carrying crude oil. A fiery axle that people saw for 20 MILES before it derailed was the reason for the derailment - NOT the brakes.

Video of fiery axle before the train crashed taken with a monitoring security camera in Salem, Ohio - 20 miles before the crash in Palestine.....

Someone doesn't have to die to be sacrificing something. Some people may never be able to return to their homes. Some people WILL die from the toxic fumes they had to breathe...maybe not right away, but sooner than they would have. Five counties had smoke from burning toxic chemicals float over the peoples' homes. These people were breathing in poison for days and weeks now after this crash.

And you have to come up with this snide crack about someone dying? You are as bad as our Ignoramus-in-Chief, who won't even go there and help these people! He'd rather go to Ukraine and give them millions more of YOUR tax dollars.

Isn't it odd that since these regulations were removed at the beginning of Trump's term, none of this happened until your boy the Senile Shitweasel had been in office for three years? Think it might possibly have something to do with your boy Biden's incompetent, carrot grabbing Secretary of Transportation not enforcing oversight and routine safety inspections? By the way, noteinstein, none of the regulations you are whining about would have made any difference in the train wreck in Ohio. Maybe if your sweetpea transportation secretary was more concerned about overloaded trains and less concerned about not enough minorities in construction it would not have happened.

How about we wait and see what the investigation finds, bearings, speed, road bed condition.. what ever.. the mentioned trump actions covered much more than one item so let us see the failed thing in the oval was never good at anything but conning so why would anyone think he was good at his word?

In the end the RR company should pay the price for this afront to concern for safety.

Ah yes - when FJB and cabal is involved it is 'wait and see' - with Trump it is an immediate conviction.

You're just a simple minded, hypocritical, ignorant ELWNJ.

OMG... trump never fixed anything in his life other then with heaps of money form his daddy and from Putins oligarchs...

As for the regulations,, RR regulation and I would think many other fields have qualifications in them, such as the amount or number of units needed for the regulation to apply.. I know the RR have had many of these rules back in the days that I worked for one.. however the basic rule of safety was the responsibility of the owners, in this case the RR company.. we shall see how that comes out.. it will be some time before the public is informed of all the details, that is basic strategy for any business caught in the act of violating an issue they could be libel for..

and again the "rule" removed by trump was not only about a single potential problem..

Blah, blah, blah. And you have absolutely no business using the term "real American" - since you aren't one. You are a pathetic, lying POS: CLPOS

Defend this, you shameful coward. Or - as usual - start making your usual excuses: "Already debunked" (although thast has yet to be seen. Why can't you find it?) - "I'm too busy" - "you wouldn't believe it anyway". The least you could do is create some new dodge er I mean excuse.

GOVERNMENT
Yes, a train safety rule was repealed in 2018
The Department of Transportation repealed a mandate in 2018 that required safer brakes on trains that carried hazardous materials.

On Feb. 3, nearly 50 train cars, including some carrying hazardous materials, derailed in a fiery crash in East Palestine, Ohio. Following the crash, officials conducted a controlled burn of some of the train cars to prevent a potential explosion of a toxic chemical called vinyl chloride that was onboard.

Thousands of residents had to temporarily evacuate because of health concerns related to the fumes. The cause of the derailment has not yet been determined, and an investigation is ongoing.

Over a week after the crash, U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg posted a Twitter thread on the work the Department of Transportation is currently doing to make trains safer. In one of the tweets, Buttigieg claimed one rail safety regulation involving brakes was withdrawn by the Trump administration in 2018 because of a law passed by Congress in 2015. Several others on Twitter shared similar claims.

VERIFY viewer Martha recently emailed our team to ask if these claims are true.

Did the Department of Transportation repeal a train safety rule in 2018?

THE ANSWER

This is true.
Yes, the Department of Transportation repealed a train safety rule in 2018.

Yes a safety rule was repealed, but no it did not or would not have applied to this train.

The biggest problems IMO going on in our country is the lack of critical thinking, and a lack in intellectualhonesty. They don't even try to teach these anymore.

See you fact check and the left bias site says that a regulation was repealed in 2018 and you, and the left run with it. You never asked if it's repeal had anything to do with the accident, IT DIDN'T. Don't get me wrong the right does it too, just not as often in my view.

We all need to start asking the RIGHT questions.
