Eric Holder Says Opposition to Obama is RACIST

Our Attorney General is quite a piece of work, and I dont mean that in a good way.
He was on ABC this past Sunday morning giving a wide-ranging interview where he made fun of Sarah Palin (and the Republicans who love her), and once again blamed opposition to President Obamas agenda on racism.
There's a certain level of vehemence, it seems to me, that's directed at me [and] directed at the president, Holder told ABC. You know, people talking about taking their country back.
There's a certain racial component to this for some people. I dont think this is the thing that is a main driver, but for some there's a racial animus."
We've made lots of progress, he said. I sit here as the first African-American attorney general, serving the first African-American president of the United States. And that has to show that we have made a great deal of progress.
But there's still more we have to travel along this road so we get to the place that is consistent with our founding ideals, he said.
Holder also spent time regurgitating the same old Democrat drivel on voter ID laws.

He called such moves political efforts aimed at making it more difficult for groups that are not supportive of those in power to have access to the ballot.
Who is disproportionately impacted by them? Young people, African Americans, Hispanics, older people, people who, for whatever reason, aren't necessarily supportive of the Republican Party, Holder said, noting that this notion that there is widespread in-person voter fraud is simply belied by the facts.
Holder said the Justice Department is expected to soon file challenges to restrictive voting laws in Ohio and Wisconsin, as the department already did in Texas and North Carolina.
I'm attorney general of the United States. I will not stand for -- I will not allow people to take away that which people gave their lives to give, and that is the ability for the American people to vote, Holder said.
This is a complete load of rubbish.
Opposition to President Obama (and Eric Holder) is based on the horrendous job he is doing. It has nothing to do with race. The President won election by a large margin, twice... and yet, he is now one of the most unpopular President in our history. He was recently named the WORST President since WWII. To believe that opposition against him is racist would mean that the very people who elected him are themselves RACIST. It's a ridiculous notion.
We don't like him because he is terrible... and that is all.
North Carolina is often pointed to as the state with the most Draconian voting laws
but after the recent stringent voter ID law passed MORE African-Americans turned out than ever before! That doesnt sound like a suppression of the black vote, does it?
A full 70% of the American population supports new voter ID laws (up to 80% in some polls), and yet the Obama administration stands against the important check on voter fraud. Among African Americans support is lower, but 51% of African-Americans also support voter ID laws! So race doesnt seem to be an issue when it comes to voter ID laws
As long as the media continues to allow Holder and his Democrat compatriots to play the race card whenever they lose an argument they will keep doing it. Its just sick.
