Only a non-practicing Jew would participate in having henna applied. They may do the other things listed.

To you; however, I blog at a Jewish site. If I posted that, although they seem fond of me, the wrath of Hashem would descend through the site members.

This group is Orthodox. Come dark on Friday, 80% vanish until Saturday night. We have three Londoners, two in France and quite a number in Israel. Sheer accident I became part of the site. I may be the only gentile.

Yes the orthodox won’t even turn on the light switch or use electricity

My friend, her point is simply that the media is treating these two tragedies very differently than usual. Simply that. In her opinion, it is because there is no political points to be made about white supremacy or racism or to promote gun control. I agree with her. She never implied that the stories were being ignored.....just not pushed in endless 24/7 coverage.

nailed it!!!!

Obviously, my ”specific axe to grind” floated right over your understanding.

No, it did not.

Reading is fundamental and I read you loud and clear.

Start with a false premise: title the thread ignored and claim the two college student mass murders are not receiving the coverage you claim other such incidents get (namely 24/7 coverage) because they don't fit the leftist narrative.

-the stories are not being ignored and one would have to avoid news media purposefully to not see the stories.
- very few stories receive 24/7 narratives

The not ignored incident in Idaho (white students, no guns) you wish folks to believe your false premise is based on the victims' race and 'guns don't kill people, people kill people' idea.

The not ignored incident in Virginia (black students, gun involved) you wish folks to believe your false premise is based on the perpetrator's race. ( Ironically, you don't mention guns in this case. What's up with that?)

You claim that the amount of media coverage of the incidences is based on race, but it is you who are bringing up race to try and back up a false premise that 'the media' are not giving these events coverage .

So, yes, I see how that works. Your specific axe to grind is to turn these two incidences into something they are not: related to race. And why point out that one incident did not involve guns, but ignore that the other did? Is it because you know that young people with easy access to guns are the reason for the increase in violent crime?

Ah. So you DO understand......you just choose not to see what many of the rest of us do. The Democrats politicize EVERYthing, and they almost always do so immediately. And they do it with the willing help of the main stream media. When they don't, it is because whatever it is can not be used to advance their narrative.
This is just the latest example.
However, I see your points.
