The short answer is NO, human nature seems to prevent this. A majority of individuals on both sides are more concerned about their own interests or the interests of their biggest contributors than the nation.

The Democrat party is no longer "Fringe" extremist but it's body , followers and government agencies are extremist.
Sadly majority of the Republican Party is unrecognizable, only projects fights against the left and in the end sits back allowing leftist policies to take over our constitution.
The Republican law makers are either bought and paid for or Rhinos for the World Economic Forum blazing the trail for the New World Order/Reset.
Question? How many times have (us) conservatives gotten excited about candidates and the platform they ran on, only to latter be disappointed in their action or inaction after elected? My answer is dozens of times in the last two decades.
Watching network media and a republican law maker, make their case against leftist policies, only to then support is what's been our reality....all made for TV propaganda for (us) peasants.
I'm an optimist and won't stop fighting even though the facts say wr have passed the point of no return for a complete economic and social collapse.
I also believe that the deep state is far to deep and globally powerful to ever dismantle.

Can and should for the better of the country is right, but it won't happen. The only way the Democrats will work with Republicans is if they cave and go all RINO. It wouldn't be for the best and crazy old Joe still has the veto.
