Today, the democrat party in its entirety IS the "extreme fringe". There is no way to unite two diametrically opposed political philosophies, the abyss cannot be bridged. There is no compromise, appeasement, or aisle crossing possible.

The monster the democrat party has become must be defeated, it's political philosophy is alien to our American way of life and must be purged from American politics. I reckon that is the greatest challenge we Americans have ever faced, and I have to say, the odds against our success is growing dimmer with each passing day.

Republicans and Democrats are already working together; just not in the best interest of the country and its citizens. There’s little difference between the parties other than their approach. They’re working in the best interest of themselves and the federal government. For decades all American citizens have worked to support the world’s second largest crime syndicate; the U.S. Federal Government.

I think both parties are really just one party now, and it's going to stay that way. The Republicans in office like their "bonuses" too much to care about us, and seem perfectly happy with letting the Democrats take over.

The oppression will continue, the middle class will continue shrinking and America as we've known it will cease to exist.

Another country will take charge of us now, I believe.

Democrats have had proposals in front of the Republican Party that called for compromise many times and the Republicans walk away. They prefer gridlock which is just saying no, and then they look for a way to try and make Democrats look bad, which means they'll never compromise.

Here is an example:

Democrats were ready to give Trump his wall because they knew Democrats would support it.

They had a few things they wanted. Republicans walked away.

I doubt you or any other Republican are going to change that unless the Republican Party is practically
destroyed and rebuilt on the absolute foundation that it once had, but even then if you go back that far then
you're going back to a time when the R party recognized it was falling out of favor.

This was right before the Pundits and False news networks were created to produce the Propaganda that has
brainwashed so many of the supporters that has ended in Trump.

Our countries best bet is to abandon the Republican Party, they just aren't right and don't want anything to
change for the better.

Unfortunately, you’ll have your desire of complete socialism in the U.S. within the next 2-4 years. Totally agree! Followed politics since early 60s & the JFK party was different then. He would NOT be a dem today. In my opinion, dems are demonic, anti-God, care nothing about the unborn & that’s just the beginning!Repubs generally are wussies & will not fight for what is right for Americans; doubt very seriously if both sides will work together.
