Trump was the worst president we ever had. Every day we hear of yet another way he tried to suvert democracy.
And though I have tried diligently, in many ways, to get somebody to tell me even ONE thing Trump did to subvert Democracy, no one has ever done it. Just wild, unfounded, vile accusations. In the meantime, the list of GREAT things accomplished by Trump is very very long.

Wow, what a devastating comeback.
Yet, somehow, I'll survive.
And, getting back to the thread's message: General Mattis was/is spot-on with his assessment of Trump. The former POTUS remains, even more so, a POS.

Now we have a new one who just gave as divisive a speech as trump ever did
And people are still caught up in democrat vs republican without realizing how pointless that is.

Although it is pointless trying to convince you of anything, I'll simply say "ONE"...'The Big Lie'. As far as Trump's 'accomplishments' are concerned, every administration can provide endless lists of their own. But, in every case, those lists are generally presented with a partisan/ideological lean, with little regard for what opposing camps may think of 'em. In other words, politics as usual.
Now going for mornin' coffee with neighbors.

Open your mind and read the many things he continually does. Fully pardon all those convicted because of the Jan 6th riots? Plus an apology? And your begging for someone to tell you "one" thing? Get serious, you don't care.

Usual comment from someone with no ammo.
The Big Lie
Which one? hillary saying the election was stolen from her? Guess it is OK if it is a democrat making the claim.
Maybe it's this "Big Lie" (among the many he has made): "Nobody making under four hundred thousand bucks will have their taxes raised. Period."? ELWNJs do not like to have anyone dare ask questions or argue with them.
Or perhaps it is just the usual ELWNJ hypocrisy......
i Although it is pointless trying to convince you... (

No one cares about Hillary, she was never president. Is that all you got? You can't defend Trump except by deflecting attention to Hillary? Want to bring up Obama? It's rumored he hijacked the library of Congress?

I wasn't aware that biden fully pardoned those convicted of J6 trespassing, etc.

Trump said he would if reelected president.
In answer to the title of this, "How was Trump as a president?", my answer and the answer of many Viet Nam veterans is, "fine." There was no inflation, gas prices were reasonably low, the housing market was stable, and, there was low unemployment. And, the central bank, the FED, was brought under the control of the treasury department. Perhaps more important than all of these achievements was the fact that our enemies feared him and therefore we had a champion for an America, the land of the rule by "Law" and not by the whim of an international ruling class supported by the international banksters that have been in control of "the reserve currency, the dollar." He freed the marketplace so that it could operate apart from the control freaks who do not want to leave people alone. Who cares, therefore, about some no-win-war general who doesn't like Trump? He's just another lackey as Westmoreland was to the coward LBJ and Jimmy Carter.
Are you responding to "yourself". Lol, whey to funny.
