Biden's handlers are touting that his sale of our strategic oil reserves is the reason for the rapid decrease in gas prices the last few weeks. Never mind that as this chart using EIA data illustrates gas prices have steadily gone down as demand went down due to high prices in the previous weeks.

I heard the prices in China are dropping even faster because of all the oil we are giving them

4. In mid October to late October announce you’ve decreased illegal entry by .5 M for a 25% reduction, I’m great, vote Dem

That will be the procedure to make things look 'better' for the election.

Only this idiot administration would be happy gas prices are dropping due to recessionary pressure.

LOL! And the low information voters on the left will enthusiastically embrace it.

No worries, Jim! The Biden administration is ALL over the problem! Why, even as we speak, they have no doubt formed select committees and special task forces to put their heads to gather and work tirelessly 24/7 to brainstorm ideas and campaigns to address the root of the problem.........how to blame the coming recession on Trump and his policies.

Exactly & they will create a new “ pandemic” around election time & especially in ‘24.

That had not occurred to me, but I think it is right on the mark! I better stock up on masks.

Unfortunately you're right, build up your food stockpiles. Gas too. You may want a generator although many already have them.

I was in Denver a few weeks ago. The signs on the gas stations advertised $4.79 a gallon when gas was going for over $5 where I'm from. Helluva deal right? But when you got to the pump, the old bait and switch was on as that was the price for 85 octane gas while the price for 87 octane gas -- "regular" gas -- was $5.40 a gallon. You have to be careful because these demonrats will ever so slightly twist the truth with lies to support their narrative and the stupid sheeple will fall for it.

And I absolutely AGREE that President Biden should get the credit !!
After all, we are NOT leftwing hypocrites. We do not need a double standard, since we are on the side of the truth. Our position for the past 16 months has been that Biden's immediate and drastic attacks on the fossil fuel industry were both directly and indirectly the cause of gasoline going from under $2 per gallon to well over $5 per gallon in less than a year and a half. So by all means, YES, lets give him credit for undermining our strategic readiness to have a minimum positive impact on a massive price increase that HE caused in the first place.
Thanks, Joe!
