Since you point to Republicans as the purveyors of disinformation. You say that propaganda, disinformation and lies are easily discernable. Then please explain how the Steel dossier, the Biden laptop, the Trump impeachments, the Kavanaugh hearings, the virus origins and economic shutdowns, mask mandates, the ACA supposedly being affordable, the "summer of love" riots, and on and on have all been issues that those Democrats were no able to recognize. How these same people in power now would have treated each of these supposed truths differently had they had a disinformation board. When you can show that those in power fought against each one of those disinformation lies then maybe they would earn the right and trust to be the arbiters of truth. Until then, no one in, or potentially in a position of authority is trustworthy enough to have this power.
