So I see many here on OPP think nuclear war is survivable.

For those that don't understand nuclear War, check out the movie On The Beach. Either version. Nuclear war in the north finally leads to the elimination of humanity as the nuclear clouds slowly spread through all of earths atmosphere killing everything.

First of all, you are correct, the global alarmist idiots want us all dead.

As for Iran, they would say they need no example of US weakness to inspire them to want us blown to bits and if they had a nuke, Ii have no doubt they would use it, immediately. Well, maybe not Iran, persay, but radical Islamists. They would. The Iranian people were quite happy being westernized and welcomed our trade and tourism before we installed the Shah. That was one of our biggest mistakes and all for British Petroleum. How could we have been so stupid?? And ow it reflects upon us in all of our dealings with the ME and the rest of the world.

As for China, who knows. They want Taiwan but I think only for money's sake but I could be wrong.

So says Ukraine, So says you! Why should I believe either? But reportedly Putin's troops control Chernobyl and Zaporizhzhia after reported shelling near them and fire during their capture. Have you anything to prove they weren't fired on, that no fighting took place over these facilities, or that the Russian troops do not control them, other than your propaganda refuting Ukraine's propaganda? All it takes is one media outlet to report and the rest of the lemming news outlets follow their lead without confirmation. The jury is still out on this one until I see actual proof one way or another.

We were going to remove the missiles in Turkey anyway as they were outdated weapons and served no strategic interest. It was just a carrot hung in from of the Russians.

Iran is controlled by reactionary Islamists Mullahs and Ayatollahs to the detriment of all its citizens, for which they care nothing about. The Government of Iran does not represent the people of Iran. The way most governments operate, especially the autocratic ones.
