If parents are responsible for their kids until adulthood which comes at various times (some at 18, some at 21, some at 26) maybe they should be tried for aiding and abetting due to the fact they did not teach right from wrong

First and second degree murder should always have the sentence of execution...

I disagree, execution solves nothing. Locked in solitary confinement ft or a supermax prison is a far greater punishment.

Execution removes them from society...

Why pay to confine them???

In the US, the accused are afforded a fair trial. They also have the right to appeal. Those sentenced to death can appeal that. I don't know about China.

China too...

But after the appeal the execution is carried out pretty fast (week to a month)...

It's rare for the entire process to take more than two years...

But they make a choice to pick up a gun and kill innocent people!! I'm not talking about 10 or 11 yrs old, I'm talking about. 16, 17 yrs, who know right from wrong..

If we do not hold everyone accountable for their choices we lose our civil society.

If you are old enough to do adult crime, you are old enough to do adult time.

Some 40-odd years ago in my Great-uncle's neighborhood there was a string of burglaries. One night he heard a noise from his garage, took his gun and shot at someone by the garage, then called the police. When the police got there they asked him how he would have felt if he had shot a teen-ager. My Great-uncle responded: "if he's old enough to steal...he's old enough to die." Not sure I fully agree with that sentiment, but I'd be willing to bet the burglars didn't go back to his house. So...

Hmmm, I would move that back to 15 year olds and in some instances 14 year olds.

If they were raised right, they are old enough to know right from wrong at 15.

Good point...

Except...When do they become an adult???

The minute they pulled the trigger or picked up the knife both were conscious decisions and choices. Unless they are trying to defend themselves they made an adult decision

Ok, so there always seem to be circumstances. Like a youth picks up the fathers gun caught an accidental discharge killing the father? Not the same as the youth that purposely killed his father?
