Vigilante: a member of a self-appointed group of citizens who undertake law enforcement in their community without legal authority, typically because the legal agencies are thought to be inadequate.
So how does Brooks fit that definition?
If they're portraying this case of as one of self protection, then all of those people on the 6th, should have been gunned down.

And there it is...the rights reasoning... if it's not illegal, we *can* do it, forget about the fact that is unethical or immoral, this is their podium and their stance they live by, pure perversions of moralities. GOP~RIP
And, of course, the ELWNJs get to decide what is unethical and/or immoral......

No point, only that if Rittenhouse said he was doing it to protect property, he was lying, just as he was lying when he said he supported BLM. If he truly supported BLM he would have been marching with them not seeing how many he could kill before someone put a stop to it. Rittenhouse went to Kenosha to kill people, and he did. That's my point. Sorry if it was too obtuse for you to understand.
I'm tempted to say that you missed the trial and are relying on second hand information....

So drinking and smoking are unethical???

How childish and of course wrong
The GOP is also not synonymous with the right and the few donβt represent the many

When I stated that Kyle Rittenhouse was a vigilante PR and those that follow her came a bit unglued at the suggestion even though he fit the definition to a tee. He is a vigilante only in your hate filled demented mind. Everything he did was within the law.

It IS interesting that except for hanging Negros, you describe BLM, antifa, and white liberals to a tee. 80 years ago, the guys written about were Dixiecrats! 80 years ago, democrats did NOT want blacks to vote, or desegregate. It wasn't until about 25 years later and Lyndon B. Johnson and the welfare state that these acts of terrorism against blacks faded out...mostly. Since it's inception, the Republican party has championed the black community..it wasn't the Confederates that freed the slaves!
Kyle helped wash off graffiti, offered first aid to rioters, and only shot AFTER being attacked, and then ran to police to turn himself in. Those are not the actions of a vigilante. He could have easily taken cover and shot 30 people, ( one shot=one person...30 round magazine).

Vigilantes are those that are always vigilant of the downtrodden being taken advantage of by the bullies. A vigilante usually is a result of the actions or ideology of a crazy social justice warrior, a crazy environmentalist and global climate change pusher, a tax and spend fool or a criminal antifa or BLM hombre. Kyle was a vigilante to the extent that he was defending himself and most of the law abiding citizens of our country by taking a few of the criminal Antifa gang bangers out. We need more vigilante's like Kyle who can get rid of the criminal element infecting our country. Kyle needs statues to go up in his honor and George Floyd's statues and murals need to come down. We need to stop worshipping criminals and start honoring patriotic Americans.

George Steinbeck was a vigilante himself and was a proponent of vigilanteism. His books are full of wisdom, insight and a no-nonsense approach to bullies, insurgents and insurrectionists like today's Demorat party. My bookshelf is full of his numerous non-fiction writings. He was writing his last book when an insurrectionist from the Demorat party (I think it was Maxipad Waters), instigated by the call of a deranged demorat politician, confronted him at a gas station, got in his face and caused him to have a myocardiac experience.

So the black rioters and looters who destroyed black owned businesses and looted them to protest racism are not vigilantes. Just plain old chickenshit thieves.
