Thank you LJ!❤ The family is doing well. Thankfully, the kids have all quit breeding, and giving us more to keep up with!😂
And, now that I only work part time (40-45 hours a week), I have to stay busy, or I'll become a vegetable.
I'm going by the feed store on my way to Lowe's to get the toilet thing, so if you feel like bucking 10 bails of hay, and a few sacks of grain, swing on by!😎

I read about that 8th grand baby!!! Tiny and I’m sure stolen your heart!!!Congratulations !!! Yup, 8 seems a decent number to stop… Now deep breath for you and the lil ms… As grandparents what are you called, is it grandpa and grandma or pop pop or pa and Nana or what, what do you prefer to go by??

Exactly what I mean right here!! Part time 40/45 hrs, how’d you get so lucky with the Christmas rush coming??

Actually I would love trying to buck 10 bails of hay, and a few sacks of grain!!! But first what is bucking 10 bails??? Lolol 🤔

Ah, a new toilet! Nothing quite like the maiden voyage on a new ship!😂😎
I'm about to pull one out myself. We're getting an occasional whiff of sewer gas in the bathroom, and I think the wax ring on the bottom of the hopper is leaking. A lot of work for a four dollar chunk of wax.

LOL, gotta say it is indeed a great upgrad.. now I enjoy a higher chair to view the debree of my lawn. or weed patch as it maybe.. and better yet, I no longer have to journy down to the basement in the middle of the night..

I am very grateful to the young guy who did the hard work.. yes those darn wax rings make for a work day indeed..

Damn, now my spell check has gone nuts... can not even correct the obvious... That is it, never gonna try again..

They all call me Sampa, and Mrs. B. Is Nini.

When I converted to career carrier, I opted to only work the overtime required by the route I'm carrying.
I've got a pretty good one right now, so I can get it done mostly in 8 hours.
Come December, all rules with management go out the window, so I'll be working semi-full time for a month. Can't be as bad as last year though. We have more bodies, and this time last year, half the station was out with COVID.
70+ hours was normal, and I actually broke 90 a couple of times. I made a lot of money, but damn!! I was so thankful for that sweet lady who lived at the place where I showered, ate, and slept! Turned out she's my wife!😂😂
Sleep deprivation, fatigue, and over work does strange things to a person.😳 This peak season should be better....I hope.

Not sure about the bucking hay thing. I guess because a cowboy friend of mine always called it that. You grab a bale, and use your knee and leg to buck it up on the stack.

What the hell 90 hours Archie that’s could’ve killed you seriously. I pray you don’t have anything like that this time around and yes that lady that fed you and took care of you during the moment your were home Obviously fed you well to keep you going…

Some tell you the key to a good marriage is not being around each other a lot but heck you weren’t even around her for a moment..

Having a lot of money does you no good if you’re 6 feet under! Remember that!
Plus I’m sure you’re lovely Mrs. actually
Missed you!

It wasn't the money, but the career I wanted for us. The Postal Service is a strange animal indeed. You don't start in a career position. You have to bode your time, and earn it. I earned it, and I can honestly say that I've paid my dues to be where I am now.
And I couldn't have done it without that angel by my side. She told me to give it up anytime I was ready, but, I had a goal, and I'm too stubborn for my own good. But it worked out thanks to her support.
