Dogs wag their tails as a gesture of non threatening behavior, Learning how to read that gesture can save you or your dog from getting hurt. Some breeds, those whose tails are usually curled over the back often wag their tails as a form of submission, and if they really mean submission they may actually also drop their head stance and avoid eye contact. Be careful around dogs who do not wag their tails but carry the tail straight up, particularly if they also make full eye contact with you, that combination usually means they intend to be dominate, so watch your step around them.

Just using the animal as an example, the one with the curled up tail, some times they even smile. You were making things nice to be around.

As you may or may not remember the last few weeks were a bit tense for me and mine..

My grand daughter, her fiancƩe and their little girl of 10 months all got sick, the adults with c***d and the little one with the sniffles..

So, we took custody of the big brother.. now 2nd grader.. was fun to have him with us, he is a good kid, but like nearly all kids wants things his way or no way.. but we got things done, he helped pile and burn debris from summer storms.. nearly got it done before last nights snow.. oh well..

Now he is gone to dads house and all of his own house are well and active. so everyone is happy..

Then to add icing to the cake, the sons who with wives and such went to London for a couple weeks got back, different planes so different times. great to see them, and all went better then well, no terrorists, no c***d, they all met the requirements.. and they had nothing but a fine time.. my daughter in law was sparkling with the good times when she talked to my wife..

And I am enjoying both events, recover and return,,, makes my heart sing... Yeahoo!!

Also the last weekend of rifle deer hunting , so the last h****r departed this late morning, returning to the city.. But he had no deer.. say a number but none wanted.. that big swamp buck remains as king..

Grand son did get one, not the right one and a bit of an accident, he still has a bow license. good to Jan 1st..
As you may or may not remember the last few weeks ... (show quote)

Glad your family is doing well perm.

Sometimes I think dogs wag their tails because they are flirting.

Thank you so much Linda.. and to you as well..

He is a genuine great guy.. worked on the oil rigs in ND/MONT until they shut down, now he is on construction of some sort.. He works hard all the time and has plans for the family and the kids.

To me it has seemed for some time that youngsters who have a work ethic are hard to find.. I admire them all..

Have a great turkey day and lots of fun..

Ah, a new toilet! Nothing quite like the maiden voyage on a new ship!šŸ˜‚šŸ˜Ž
I'm about to pull one out myself. We're getting an occasional whiff of sewer gas in the bathroom, and I think the wax ring on the bottom of the hopper is leaking. A lot of work for a four dollar chunk of wax.

Thank you LJ!ā¤ The family is doing well. Thankfully, the kids have all quit breeding, and giving us more to keep up with!šŸ˜‚
And, now that I only work part time (40-45 hours a week), I have to stay busy, or I'll become a vegetable.
I'm going by the feed store on my way to Lowe's to get the toilet thing, so if you feel like bucking 10 bails of hay, and a few sacks of grain, swing on by!šŸ˜Ž
