Crap ...hocks not jocks lol.
I never did figure out why my Granny saved the twisty ties from her bread sacks. But she complained about my Grandad picking up and keeping every nut, bolt, screw, nail, and whatever other hootie things he found when they went on walks.
I have his fruitcake tin with about 20 lbs of that stuff in it. Wasn't that long ago that I got in trouble for dumping it out on the kitchen table looking for a cotter pin.
I found one!

That's why I have a "pantry" that's really well stocked. Just have to buy a bigger caliber gun to protect it!!!!

I used to go overboard when I lived in SLC, Utah. I have enough to sustain my adopted family for at least a year. ( Just don't have the barrel full of wheat like I used to. Used to read a lot of "Howard Ruff" from Wyoming on survival and of course the LDS church was big on it. (my wife's side of the family).

Try Oats with Peanutbutter stirred in.
I have been eating Old Fashioned Oats
every day, and sometimes at night for over 3 years now. Honestly
it is good for my diabetes, and heart ❤.
