Obama is DOING THE RIGHT THING by trying to cut emissions, ESPESSIALLY from coal-fired power plants.
I'm sick and tired of ASSHOLES who are too stupid to
realize the danger of global warming. You talk about price?
I'm talking about the very EXISTANCE of humanity!
DAMN, YOU GUYS ARE FOOLS!!!
You talk about cost and don't even realize how EXTREMELY
EXPENSIVE and probably even FATAL it might be NOT TO
ACT!

Robert, welcome to OPP. Did you read anything prior to jumping off the cliff or are you always this uninformed? My guess is the latter. However, if I may suggest a remedy just consider the following instructions. Bend over and insert your dumb ass head up your alimentary canal; now open your eyes. Still in the dark? Well you should feel at home. It's people like you that feed the politicians ego. Geeez, you really pissed me off. Now you know your not the only one that gets sick and tired.

I'm sick and tired of assholes who don't realize that the US produces less than 10% of the emissions, I'm sick and tired of assholes who think that humans have much to do with any climate change;
I'm sick and tired of assholes who believe everything bloviating politicians and so-called "scientists" who depend on money from these politicians say is gospel truth. Especially when these assholes have been given refutations by reputable climate scientists, and won't even read them, preferring to be led by the ring through their noses.
Lastly, I'm tired of brainless assholes and fools who cannot spell, and lack the education to do their own research calling someone else an asshole, or a fool.

Since The EPA Is Here To Stay
When The Republicans Increase Their Majority In The House
And Regain The Senate

I Will Campaign Them Each To Introduce Legislation To Define The Breadth And Scope Of The Afore Mentioned Agency.
Along With A Suggestion Or Three Of My Own.
The Agencies Of The United States Cannot Be Allowed To Act As Autonomous Governments Unto Themselves.

Republicans are not blameless. Both parties, especially Democrats, are guilty of delegating governance to overpaid and underbrained, unqualified bureaucrats, so they are free to pursue the real reason they are in DC, which is to get re-elected repeatedly so they can protect us from career politicians. The gnat-like memories and gopher brained IQs of much of the electorate make this far easier to accomplish. I'd be interested, all cracks aside, in what your ideas to trim the bureaucracy might be. Mine all involve prison terms, chain gangs, and the like.

Yeah, facts aren't good for much of anything except getting in the way of opinions.

Democrats Don't Read The Bills, Let Alone My Letters.

1) Congress Has To Clearly Define The Breadth And Scope Of The EPA. I Mean 'Wood Stoves'?? REALLY ??

2) The Regulations They Pull Out Of Thin Air To Fill Their Day
Should At LEAST Be Reviewed By A Committee Of An Actual Legislative Body. After All, Regulations Are De facto Legislation.

3) If The Committee Thinks The Proposal Is Over-Reach, They Send It Out To Congress With A Recommendation. If It Get's Tabled,
Then The Regulation Is Tabled With It.

4) The EPA Will Consider Itself To Be At The Pleasure Of The United States Congress. No SUPREME COURT NOTHING !!
The Entire EPA Catalog Will Fall Under The Jurisdiction Of Congress.
Maybe Farmers Can Once Again Pump And Level Wet Spots In Their Fields, And Get About The Business Of Producing Produce.

Good suggestions. There are certain bureaucracies that I think should be phased out entirely, such as DHS. What a joke. I cannot think of a single one that should not be seriously downsized, except for perhaps the VA. I think the first step would be to convince Congress, somehow, that they actually do have to work for a living, rather than delegate so much of the day to day to apparatchiks. There is a need for an EPA, but not the Leviathan we are currently saddled with. I'm a realist, in that I realize bureaucracies are necessary, and probably need to be a little larger than I would like, in order to do their jobs. They are, by virtue of generating regulations that are de facto law, a governing body. Unelected, unaccountable, frequently less than qualified, and realistically, unfireable.
More later. I'm getting very sleepy.

I don't think he does get it. He doesn't seem to grasp the concept of ups and downs, ups and downs. And he has no clue about CO2 levels from thousands of years ago, especially during the tropical times. For all he knows CO2 was heavier then than ever in the earth's history.

He believes man can control everything, and of course we know that just isn't true. In actuality, man can control very little of nature and when he does find something to control, he winds up destroying it.

Robert: Your grossly over reacting! The US is only a cog in the wheel of world polution. I'm all for clean resources...but lets not cut our head off in the enhancement of clean energy! We need to make it profitable for our fellow world energy users to seek new scrubbing methods. Just because I stop pissing on my bed......doesn't mean my neighbors will stop as well!
