The bat theory is discussed, but the article is addressing the actions that WHO and others took to protect China and others.....it is not about the virus, but about the lack of proper scientific investigations into it's origin. Read the article. i promise it will not compromise your leftist thinking, but might help you realize that there are still questions that have been deliberately obfuscated.

No. There are still a lot of questions with few satisfying answers. I believe in seeking and facing the truth, even if it is unpleasant. The political model used by WHO, the UN, and now the current Washington administration and, in my opinion, the courts, is to look at all the possible results of an investigation, and then manipulate, hide information, and lie to get the result most beneficial to the manipulators. In other words, the end justifies the means.

Were the Covid19 virus came from is still an open question. It is most likely to have come from a mutation in bats that was natural. Remember the British varrent has 2 base pair mutation. The bat Covid has the same number. Mutations in RNA virus are common. Why should China make a virus that made their ecomony shut down for three mounths?
