Okay, who thinks that I have a snowball's chance in Hades to get the vaccine-ever? I am 77, have COPD, Congestive Heart Failure, failing heart valve, diabetes. Why would they vaccinate me, when I cost them, rather than produce for them? I am on SS and a state pension. My income tax liability is generally -0- unless I have some SE income from organ playing.

I have experience, and learned a lot growing up in this country when it was free and a real country-for that reason alone, they want elderly to die. We remember what true freedom is like, and it ain't this! We remember when morals were taught, respect was earned, and children were not the boss of anything. We recall when it was safe to walk down the street of any small town or city and not fear for your life-when sex was reserved in large part for marriage, and marriage was between a man and a woman-when having a child was considered a blessing, not an inconvenience to be discarded at will anytime before or even after he/she was born. And they do not want us talking about how it was when we were free to disagree without fear of assault or insults or even death because we did not agree with the party in power. I suspect the president's dog would get the vaccine before any of the elderly see any part of it-never mind that most of Congress is "elderly" and also contribute nothing to this country but leech off the taxpaying hard working productive people of this country.

I'm a retired corrections officer that thinks prisoners should be at the front of the line for vaccinations because of having a lack of autonomy. The state, being the "ultimate parent", has the responsibility of being a good parent.

Not sure what I have earned, but thank you for the kind words. BTW, are you not supposed to get 2 doses of the vaccine for it to be fully effective? Or is that not true?

Then I suppose "death panels" it is. If inmates and Congress, and corrupt politicians-I know redundancy-mea culpa-get the vaccine first-and nursing home residents and elderly and others with conditions that make them more vulnerable have to wait for what may be months, then "equal treatment, without prejudice on account of age or disability" is not what is happening. Not a surprise given the path this country is on-frankly, I think perhaps it would be a blessing to die rather than watch what is happening to this country, and the destructive path it is on. If it is up to the states to deliver, then, living in WI, a decidedly liberal state run by a very left wing governor, conservatives and Republicans will have to "go to the back of the bus", as Obama so eloquently put it, and elections have consequences. And this election, the most fraudulent in our history, in my opinion, has dire consequences, indeed for the country. Conservatives and Trump supporters are to be punished.
