If it was because of an accident, yes I would forgive him/or her. If he murdered my loved one, may he rot in hell for eternity.

I agree with you. We are supposed to forgive, not sit in judgment. It would be very stressful.

I heard it said that hate is like taking poison and expecting the other person to die. You forgive not so much for the other person, but to relieve yourself of the burden of hate that will eat you up inside.

I guess I will have a burden of hate,because I believe an eye for an eye! I also believe in Death Penalty !

I don't think anyone can answer that question until they're in "those shoes".
But I would try to be obedient to my Master’s commands. Which means...forgive.

You noticed I said I would still want them held accountable for what they did. Forgiveness is for your own good. Accountability is for the good of society. Otherwise their would be anarchy.
