With the passing of Safe Harbor Day, youtube decided to take down any video that claims cheating took place in the US elections. This is YouTubes way of admitting that the election is over and it's time to move on. This takes away an important platform for cons to try to press lies that cheating took place and if Facebook and Twitter follow it will be over for Trump in his effort to steal back the election...

YouTube will remove all content that alleges that voter fraud had any impact on the overall results of the US election published from now on, it said in a statement on Wednesday.

The new rule coincides with the "safe harbor" deadline that means all state election results are deemed to be conclusive. From now on, US courts are expected to throw out all legal challenges to the election result. This effectively ends outgoing US President Donald Trump's attempts to challenge the election outcome in court.

YouTube's corporate Twitter account said: "Now that enough states certified their Presidential election results, we’ll remove any content published today (or anytime after) that alleges widespread fraud or errors changed the 2020 US Presidential election outcome."

Examples of the sort of content it intends to remove are videos that claim Joe Biden won the election due to widespread software glitches or counting errors.

It will also update its information panel that it displays under election-related videos to note that the election results are certified.

"There's always more to do. Striking the balance between openness & responsibility is one of our toughest challenges. We're continuing to make improvements & will apply our learnings from this election, globally," it said.

Since September, the Google subsidiary has removed more than 8,000 channels for violating its misinformation policies.

Google, meanwhile will reportedly lift its ban on political ads, according to news site Axios. Google banned political ads in the run-up to the US election.

Social media networks have struggled to contain misinformation and fake news. Facebook has attempted to label election misinformation with fact check information but a recent report by US non-profit Avaaz found it was failing to detect about 60% of misleading posts.

Christ, the directions you people take when a simple topic is introduced. Safe Harbor Day passed so youtube is moving on. Youtube is a business controlled by its board of directors and no one else. The Democrats investigated Trump for his illegal approach to the newly installed President of Ukraine, President Zelensky. Zelensky wan't installed until May 20, 2019. Is that clear enough? May 20, 2019. It would have been difficult for Dems to start an investigation into illegality concerning the Prez of Ukraine prior to his inauguration.

There are a number of RINO's out there, more than we might think, that like the situation the way it has become. They like letting the un-elected bureaucrats run things for them while they take credit for any little good they may do while they work to get re-elected and take in the benefits from all the lobbyists. To heck with a Democrat investigation, what about a media investigation. They wouldn't think of making the Biden scandal a news item before the election, would they. They're all in this together. They are all leftists. Of course, now that the election is over and they've succeeded in getting 70 millions to vote early and steal what was needed, the news comes out. How convenient! I've been thankful that at least Hillary wasn't elected and now we're looking to have someone who is worse.
