Um they were calls stroking the military, not a speech to the nation. Your last link said this;

Well willy you guys have four years to get a new candidate to run against Kamala (I'm sure), who's it gonna be? Someone who can get votes from both sides of the fence? It could be a real opportunity here to pick someone who'll be actually good for the Job? Would the old GOP ever choose a woman, that will be the day, eh. I never picked on anything, I asked a question. My comments were referring to us not being nearly as progressive and up with the times as we like to think, conservatives resistance to change is an albatross around our necks. We are still a country steeped in misogynistic culture though most won't admit it and it's not only the men, many women have been conditioned to it also and will still choose a man over a woman in a position of leadership simply due to him being a man. That is where they're comfortable. You are correct that is shallow and simple minded.
