If putting on the brakes while approaching a busy intersection worked once why bother when approaching a second busy intersection? Your point defies logic.

Did China lock down the entire nation?
Yes... Every city and province...

Huh. I was here and locked down. The roads were empty. The stores, restaurants, etc. were closed. Children's playgrounds were closed. Perception is an interesting thing.
We were locked down.
One son lost his job.
The other got furloughed from his for five months.
Nothing was opened here but the grocery store and it's shelves were empty.
I understand people have started hoarding again and our shelves are empty again.

Your "analogy" is like comparing apples and oranges. Breaking at an intersection is a law that if not obeyed could kill the driver of the car and/or other drivers/pedestrians. What does that have to do with the break-down of an economy and unemployment??
If the first lockdown worked, people would not be getting sick and C-19 would have been contained and would not be a pandemic any more. Why would we need another lockdown?
If the first lockdown did not work, people are still getting sick and C-19 did not become contained. Why would a second lockdown work?
Lockdowns don’t work. Anybody who believes they do is a delusional fool. What they do is kick the can down the road while taking a away people’s liberty and running the economy against the wall. The toll they have taken on human life and human rights has been incalculable. Increases in child abuse, suicide, and even heart attacks, are a result of mandatory stay-at-home orders issued by politicians who now rule by decree without any legislative or democratic due process. Small businesses have permanently closed by the thousands. Those poor owners are still responsible for the mortgages, rental contracts and taxes on their store properties - with no income! How do they DO that? As a result of lockdowns, tens of thousands of jobs have been lost....not temporarily lost - lost for good.
Lockdowns are not working now, and have never worked before - why should there be another one?

Huh. Seems that I read they only locked down targeted, affected areas. Thought you said so several months back.

Late January to late March was a full lockdown... April to May was a semi lockdown... After that they only locked down targeted areas...
Understand... One case could lead to millions being locked down and an entire province being considered off limits...

Your words ring so true...and are also spine-chilling. When I see the media reporting that there are ~13 million cases, without reporting that ~8 million of those cases are recoveries, it is clear to me that the masses are being misled. I know for a fact that there are people that are being tested multiple times (all hospital staff members are tested on a consistent basis - 3-8 times per week - right down to the janitors, and all public servants police, firemen, etc.) are required to be tested regularly as well as many other people who are tested more than once. The labs do not keep track of multiple tests on a person. Every single test is reported as a NEW case. And when I know that as a result of this the number of cases being reported is much higher than it actually is, I know that we are being hoodwinked.
What bothers me is that people don't seem to care about these facts. We are being tested. Tested to see if we "do what we are told". And we are passing that test with flying colors! We are RIPE for takeover, and I believe that takeover has already begun. By the time people realize it, it will be too late!
Lockdowns, propaganda by our media and censorship by big tech and other conglomerates is the beginning of the end of America as we've known it for 200+ years, imo.
