Unfortunately, a diet of potato chips and KFC does not support the proper development of immune response integrity.

I sometimes wonder why we put fortified vitamins in milk and sandwich bread. More appropriately and effectively, they should instead go in the soda that we put in the babies' bottles we allow them to carry around until they start kindergarten....

We spent the last half of March and most of April in our homes. Then some states began to open up. From the WHO report it appears that, other than W***n and it's province, other provinces were allowed freedom of movement within their provinces, just no travel. You might find this John Hopkins report interesting.

One spot. One. I will grant that China probably didnt have those problems, because their citizens comply out of the fear of consequences with extreme prejudice. I'm all about having consequences for law breakers, but some of our governor's edicts are insane, repressive and unnecessary. And they are NOT the law.
I would not want to be in China, where wh**ever the government says is the law that day is the law. And you can be locked in prison, put in a work camp, or worse for not complying.

I have seen for decades where people in Japan wear masks when they have a cold or the flu. They are protecting society from themselves. We are too selfish to consider others.

I dont know about that. Personally I stay away from others when I'm sick. I know many others who do the same. Don't you do that?

When I was working it was common for people to go to work with a cold coughing, sneezing, touching things. A cold was not a reason to stay home.

I always found it annoying when people would do that, then expect you to feel sorry for them😠

This is an incorrect description of how Chinese live and how the government operates...

Having lived through the lockdown and being an active member in my community I can attest to the vast majority of us complying with the restrictions out of concern for the community... There was no fear of penalty... Why would there be when one is engaged in protecting one's family and neighbors??? People here are rightly proud of how they bamded together during these trying times and succeeded...

And Florida was not a one off... There were spring break parties across the nation.. As well as unenforced quarantines where people fresh back from China freely went about their communities without testing or monitoring... And the numerous protests against the lockdowns... Not to mention the thousands of Americans who still travelled over the border for various reasons... Or went on cruises... Or holidays.... People were still visiting Europe while the v***s was raging there and returning without testing or quarantines...

The governors should never have needed to issue any guidelines as it should have been directed by the federal government from the start...
I agree that some of the guidelines are i***tic...

I have my opinion of what goes on in China based on what people tell me and what I read. You have your opinion of what goes on in the US based on what people tell you and what you read. See how that works?
