Most Mom and Pop stores are not exempt if they employ anyone other than family members. But, you have a point. The FLSA allows for certain exemptions to minimum wage law. Minors, students, and employees with a physical or mental disability may be paid under the minimum wage in certain situations, if the employer has a certificate from the DOL.
I'm not Simple like you Sam [and other Trumpians`] I don't throw arbitrary baseless egotistical rhetoric off the top of my head that is obsequious to your massive feelings of gender and sexual oriented inadequacies
The criteria for small business being subject to minimum wage laws is not a silly ass family member criterium , but the more pragmatic criteria of how much monetary business they do -and that is the amount of a half a million dollars - this figure was procured from the proper authoritative context , not my ego ;the figure three , which talks about how many employees' you have , concerns it self with only state minimum wage ,which is neither here nor there, because state laws do not usurp federal laws.
