It's not a question of being perfect but making some kind of attempt to follow the examples that Christ set for you. If there is an example of that happening it's not evident from the chair that I'm sitting in. And you are correct, the only way to know sincerity is to experience it yourself and I can promise you there isn't a liberal, a black, a Hispanic, or a Muslim in this country who has experienced anything but the sincerest form of hatred from you Christian Conservatives. I don't think the hatred of those who are different than you is what Christ had in mind when he said to love your neighbour.
It's not a question of being perfect but making so... (show quote)

I hate to burst your bubble, but I hate no one.
It's not in my DNA.
I'm sorry that you've evidently been so hurt in your life that you think we all hate.
We don't.
Whatever happened to you, I feel very bad for you.

What is it about our behavior that has your panties in a twist this time?

Our relationship with Lord Jesus and Almighty God is personal, none of your business. Your accusation that we lied to the Lord just to gain His favor is a truly wicked display of arrogance.

We are not accountable to you for what we do. You have no power over us.

A "wicked display of arrogance"? It's not arrogant to speak the truth. You and I both know that if all things were equal you would never in a million years vote for Bill Clinton because of what you perceived as immoral personal behavior. That alone would have been enough to disqualify Clinton from any consideration for your support. So what happened with Trump? Did you see no immoral behavior there? Maybe you thought Trump asked for forgiveness so it was okay? Well, you would be wrong as he was on record for saying that he had nothing to repent for. So with Trump, you had the sin of immoral behavior and the sin of being unrepentant about it but you voted for Trump anyway, why??? Well, you and I both know it was because of what you thought he could give to you politically. Do you think Christ isn't able to recognize when you throw away your moral values purely for the sake of political expedience? I don't think there is any arrogance in calling a spade a spade and you my friend are spades in black!

Your relationship with Jesus may be personal but I am pretty sure that Jesus can recognize when one is being sincere in your beliefs and when you are being hypocrites. Is there someplace in the bible where it says you can be morally relative if it's to your advantage politically? If not, then the one you are accountable to may be very unhappy!

Yes, you can.
All you have to do is repent and sincerely ask Jesus to come into your life.
My friend, none of us are perfect, but we do grow up and make better decisions.
You just have to choose to do so.
If it's ok with you, I'll send prayers up for you.
If you're dead set against that, I won't.

You really aren't getting it, are you? An omnipotent god knows every choice a person will make before god creates them. You can say I have control but I don't, not if god is omnipotent. The only way for that to happen is if your god isn't a god and I don't think you will ever let that happen...

You are correct. God knows your heart and choices. But you still have the free will to make those choices. Just because God knows what choice you will make doesn’t mean He makes you make those choices. The choice is still on you.

There's no point in trying to get through to him.
He doesn't grasp it.

Pete, the choice is YOURS to make! You can choose to follow God or you can chose to follow the path of the unrighteous. One path leads to a glorious end, the other to an eternity of suffering. The choice is yours to make!!! If you donot choose God, before you die, then you'll spend eternity in hell because God you the chance to chose.

So I made the choice. God still knew what choice I was going to make before he even created me. That's the point, you can't have free will when your creator knows what choices you will make before he even creates you.

No, you had the free will to make the choice. Here’s an example. You have the choice to post or not post something stupid. I know you will post something stupid, because it is your nature. See?

Peter, you have the choice to make the decision or not make the decision. Nobody is forcing you to make that decision. THAT fact that nobody is forcing you to make that decision makes it "free will". If you were FORCED to make that decision then it would not be "free will". You can go into a shoe store and decide to buy a pair of shoes. That decision is made by "free will". Nobody is forceing you to buy them.

The same is true of my decision to accept Jesus as my saviour. Nobody forced me to do it! I did it with my free will. The fact that it was known in eternity that I would do it does not alter the fact that I choose to do it.

He doesn't get it.
He actually told me God should be in hell with him for letting him make the decisions he has.
He doesn't seem to understand choices.

He won’t. He likes to hit and run, just like Kevyn.
