That is correct - Historians care that Trump's impeachment was totally partisan. And when they note that down when writing about Trump's history, that will be a glaring fact. That does not "eat" at Trump - he understands what the Democrats tried to do to him.....and failed. Just as he understands what they are trying to do now....just watch the DNC again and look at all the hatred towards him. It is crystal clear what's going on with them, and Americans saw it first-hand last week. Watch the RNC this week and see how patriotic, positive and MUCH Trump loves this country. He loves Americans of all races and creeds, and he vows unequivocally to keep them first in his quest to keep their country as healthy as possible.

Thing you forget is that Republicans senators were up for reelection, during the impeachment trials, Trump threatened them. ,with held very important information. If this wasn't an election year what would have happened.

What about Clinton's impeachment, or doesn't that count because he actually did lie under oath-whereas Trump's impeachment was a trumped up thing, with no basis, no real evidence produced-and before you say the Senate would not call witnesses, please remember the Senate acts as jury in impeachment trials-not as defendant-so it was up to the prosecution-the House Dems- to have their ducks in a row to get a guilty verdict. I have been on juries, some quite serious, as in murder, and the jury has never been asked to produce witnesses. The House could not be bothered to go to court to enforce subpoenas, if they actually had any evidence, why not? My take on this whole thing is this: Notice the timing-at first is was absolutely urgent that the articles of impeachment be passed immediately! Then Pelosi sat on them for a few weeks (probably at the behest of her handlers-though I do not know that for sure) and waited and waited and then proudly marched them over to the Senate-while the MSM fawned and acted as though this was some really awful thing and they were so sorry-----yeah, right.

The impeachment had to be timed just right-Trump and his group had to be distracted so the Corona Virus could really take hold-that is how despicable this all is. As nefarious as that is, I tend to believe the timing was deliberate. Who gave China the lab capability to produce the virus? I do believe that was the Obama administration. Seems fishy that even before he is even inaugurated, they come out and say they will impeach-so we know whatever they came up with was probably bogus, and it was. Dems have vilified, accused, bullied and harrassed Trump and his supporters, they have encouraged surrounding them, driving them out of businesses they are supporting-and we are to believe the impeachment timing was not held up so the virus could be ready to go because they knew their impeachment scheme would fall flat? Wow, and they actually want me to VOTE FOR THEM?????? As Creepy Joe says, "C'mon, man!"

A single-party attack on the President with two very vague charges that were rejected by the Senate because there was not a shred of evidence that anything near a crime was committed. Hearsay and dislike of a person are not evidence that someone should be impeached. That's what will go down in history. Remember...they were political charges, not legal ones.

That and the fact that the Democrats made themselves look like complete fools who didn't know their a$$es from their elbows. But they loved doing the Impeachment Trot!!
