I respect your right to your own opinion, but you are wrong. I do not know ANYONE who glorifies Trump, nor have I seen anything to indicate that he leads a cult. Most of us have very specific reasons for supporting him. we are neither brainwashed nor ignorant. As for his conspiracy theories? several of them are proving to be true, are they not? You guys on the left choose to see only Trumps mistakes and admittedly big mouth and obnoxious tweets. We Trump supporters choose to focus on the fact that he does his best to keep his campaign promises. And here's a fact for you. A list was started a month or so ago, here on OPP of WHY right wingers are supporting Trump. Last time I looked there were 25 separate and distinct and specific reasons, and not one of them said anything about slavishly following him anywhere. So I started one about all the positive reasons to support the democrats and vote for Biden. We got two. One was Biden has promised to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour(in my opinion, a good reason to vote against him). The other was multiple counts of 'He's not Trump.' So apparently there is very little positive reasons to support Biden. But I will ask you: without repeating a variation of 'he's not Trump!' please tell us why we should vote for Biden.

Written into the Constitution is a separation of Church and State. I have no problem with politicians talking about their personal faith but the idea that some sort of national religion is both desirable and enforceable is simply unacceptable in a modern free thinking democracy.

Again, I must disagree with you. Please state the place in the Constitution the it is 'Written into the Constitution is a separation of Church and State'. My friend, it is not there. Never has been. The United States Constitution, Bill of Rights, and most laws are based on Judeo-Christian teachings and beliefs. No one is trying to start a 'national religion', but denying the historical fact of our roots is foolish and stupid. Where do you think abstract concepts like justice and right and wrong come from? Without a basis in Christianity, democracy is impossible.

Setting aside your name calling, we get it that you don’t like Kevyn but are you seriously suggesting Trump doesn’t lie or exaggerate? Sure both sides do but Trump seems to do it with breathtaking aplomb even when he can be instantly fact checked.
Is this the new political normal then?
Hopefully it will end with the coming election.

First....your comprehension suffers a bit....did my post mention the Mulletfuhrer?
(Answer: no.)

Second....BIDEN’S lies are stunningly blatant, prolific and well documented! Currently, Biden is outlining things he’ll do as president.....THEY’RE ALREADY BEING DONE BY THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION!
Same old plagiarism we’ve learned to expect from Biden!

Got to love this black-or-white absolutist mentality. You can’t disagree with Trump without being labeled a “hater”? Somehow this delegitimizes any criticism and nobody is immune to that, especially DT.

If I gave you the impression that I was calling our buddy Kevyn a hater....you are right. In his post he was not just disagreeing with Trump (I disagree with him often myself. And in this case, Trump DID misrepresent what the democrats did) but he was calling him a liar and stupid, and was himself misrepresenting the accuracy (or inaccuracy) of what Trump said. And this is far FAR from being the worst things that Keyvn has called the President. As someone who does not hate ANYone, please take my word that Keyvn is indeed a well established hater, and is being eaten alive by Trump Derangement Syndrom. Or better yet, do not take my word....just browse through his posts on OPP. However, as a Christian, I do not hate Keyvn....I wish him well, though I want the side he supports to be defeated in November. If I gave you any other impression, I regret doing so.

Trump tweeting or telling a lie to the American people is a daily occurrence. Before playing golf on Saturday, Donald Trump took time to spread a false claim about God on Twitter.

“The Democrats took the word GOD out of the Pledge of Allegiance at the Democrat [sic] National Convention,” the president wrote.

“At first I thought they made a mistake, but it wasn’t. It was done on purpose. Remember Evangelical Christians, and ALL, this is where they are coming from – it’s done. Vote Nov[ember] 3!”

Though Trump’s own religious convictions have often been called into question, evangelical Christians form a key bloc of support as he seeks re-election against Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

As the website Politifact pointed out, the claim about the Democrats and the Pledge of Allegiance spread online after Peggy Hubbard, an unsuccessful Republican senatorial candidate in Illinois, made it in a Facebook post on 20 August.

The social media giant, which partners with Politifact, flagged the post as untrue.

“On the first night … participants sang the ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ instead of saying the Pledge of Allegiance. On the second, third and fourth nights, ‘under God’ was included in the pledge.”

So does he deliberately lie or is he too stupid to have his staff check the veracity of things before he spews his nonsense.

During two caucuses the Muslim Delegates and Allies Assembly and the LGBTQ Caucus meeting, both Tuesday, left out “under God,” from the pledge.

Not sure about the pledge and all, but I do remember three votes were taken when they removed God from the party platform in 2012. So they denied Him three times, interesting.

No “should” about it. It is a matter of opinion
and everybody will follow their own. Trump is not running against Biden but against his own underperforming record of 3 plus years in office. That said Trump has blazed a political trail of self aggrandizing incoherent
distracted bumbling that any Democratic candidate can look at and say...okay all I have to do is the opposite and the ship of state will right itself in a few months.
So Biden, for all his grandfatherly earnestness is just a place holder. This election is Trumps to lose, and at the moment he appears in trouble and almost every day there is more bad news to get his rag. On the day that Biden accepted the Dem nomination Steve Bannon got arrested for a variety of felonies. Even some Fox News people are appalled by the sleaze and corruption and shear number of Trump cronies that are under indictment or in jail.

So go ahead and shill for Trump if that is your inclination but at this point it seems the majority of voters have had enough and want change. If Trump loses I hope Biden and Harris will have the foresight to reach out to Trumps base and start mending fences and listening to their grievances about the basics of life as they are living it. Trump ignored or heaped abuse on everybody who did not agree with him and Biden and Co have no excuse to make the same mistake.
Remember Hillary’s “deplorable” comment and Obama’s “guns and bibles” snark? Trump has gone down that same dead end road on steroids. History shows us that crises of various kinds can make our cultural differences dissolve, if only temporarily. The leader that can unlock that cypher without starting a war is out there somewhere if not among us already. For that I unashamedly invoke God and beseech him/her/it/them to
show us this person and soon...

You mean Biden don't you? He can't even write his own acceptance speech without having to plagiarize from someone else's words. I believe it was someone from Canada this time. Typical Dummycrat. They lie, cheat & steal then blame it on Trump. Like Trump colluded with Russia. How much money has Trump gotten from Russia?
Bill got $500,000.00 for a 20 minute speech in Russia! The Clinton foundation got $145,000,000.00 after Killary sold out our country and helped arranged the sale of 20% of the United States Uranium to Russia?
She also paid $12,000,000.00 for the Trump dossier that ended up being Russian misinformation.
We can't forget about the biggest political lie of the year from Obumer, You can keep your doctor. You can keep your medical plan. Each family will save $2,500.00 on their insurance plans.
Who's the lier?

OH goodness! Gonna have to find another pesticide to get rid of the critters, they keep coming out of the woodwork, leaving those droppings everywhere they travel.
