Look back. You'll see that Bush's destruction of the economy started before he came to office.. It happened, along with 911 , when Congress decided that everyone should OWN a home regardless of their ability to pay for it. This and 911 forced the housing bubble burst and additional cost of chasing Osama ben Laden made the crisis during his watch.
Obama, on the other hand has failed to improve the proble,. In fact he has made it worse by his careless over-spending.

I have been working for 40 years, I have never seen an administration so crooked in my life, sure they all made mistakes but what they are doing is criminal, they are making sure America comes to a complete halt its so obvious, Im not the sharpest tack in the box but I can see what it has done to our job market first hand, maybe its too late....1/26--1968

Well, with this President, I put the blame on both Congress & Obama. Obama is the one who "Proposes the budget" so he gets 1/2 the blame at least and the House gets the other 1/2 by "Disposes" the proposed budget and ends up with the + $2 trillion solution. Yup! I am totally angry with both for driving my beloved Country into the sewer.

Re the housing fiasco - President Bush came to Congress SEVERAL times to warn them about what was being done, the danger it was causing. Barney Frank essentially told him to go to Hell, that everything was fine. Sorry assed idiot, Barney Frank. The President is NOT in charge of spending, Congress holds the purse strings and it is Congress who is at fault for our nation being broke. A bunch of drunken spendthrift thieves.

It is high time we got rid of the mess we have in Washington DC
It doesn't take a genuis to figure it out.
First we will have the mid term elections coming up, that is a
good start.Get rid of everyone you think hasn't done a good job or is not a principle person. Put someone in there you feel will do a better job than the person who is there now. It could be your neighbor, someone in your family,a friend, someone
who has scruples, and a strong backbone.

Right on Skott
You hit the nail right on the head. If ever there was a President who could shoulder the burden ,carry the torch and stand up for freedom it was President George W. Bush. not the clown we have in the office today.

You guys keep looking at this as reps. and dems but they really are the same. W/ each party taking office we the people lose more and more rights. I mean really, do u not remember how good life was before we were all neutered. yes Clinton didn't deal w/ Osama after the USS Cole bombing when the paks tried to hand him over to us not to mention getting rid of the Stevenson act in '99., Yes Bush screwed us w/ the patriot act (that remeber Obama was going to dismantel ;) and wars or even having a clue, yes Obama screwed us w/ double talk, racism, and scandels that is made to divide us. Divide and conquer is they're stratagey, and if you look real close you will all see agenda 21 is the real reason for all the stupid things they do. So be as one, about the real problems in AMERICA. Anybody wonder why gas is so high when we are the #1 energy producers in the world ? Was your electric bill high this month too?

Do you understand who was in charge of congress during the Bush years well. 6 out of the 8 years 100% of congress was controlled by republican . To say that Barney Frank was to blame is just flat out wrong and that falasie was created by Fox News. Barney Frank did not have the authority to tell anybody go to hell. So you are saying with Republican control in Congress the housing market collapsed the banking collapsed and it was Barney Frank. It was Bush deregulation passed by the rep congress.

Good thought but big money controls our politics. When the Roberts court struck down campaign finance and voter rights that is how we ended up with big money control of politicians and voter suppression . Vote was. 5 to 4 with a republican control of the Supreme Court.
