Some good points there... Read a similar article in the China Daily a week or so ago.. I'll see if I can find it (my account was temporarily suspended)
Hey Canuck what did you get suspended for? Just being nosey. I will understand if you don't want to answer. Just trying to avoid the same problem. Lol
It’s very important to give their citizens, the impression that they are “winning”.
Grain of salt time.
Very few things happen in a communist country by mistake. Mistakes can cost you your life and your family's life. Miss your assigned quota or have one too many children and you are punished, severely sometimes. Depends on your community organizer, in charge. Do they protect you or snitch on you.

Don't let me get you into trouble. If you want me to stop sending occasional updates, let me know. If not here are a few more.

I lived and worked in China for many years. Let me assure you, mistakes happen.

Any time people are involved, mistakes will happen. Not even China can control the weather or someone dozing off, or someone skimping on materials or safety to increase profits. But, I trust you, based on your posts. So I'll concede to your firsthand knowledge. I've enjoyed watching how things are made videos for years and how dangerous that can be in some countries. Especially when mining, smelting, or a stamping machine are used. What did you do in China and how long were you there? If, you don't mind me asking? I have a sense China is about to become free of the CCP. If you ever get any inside info from your contacts in China, please pass them along. I would deeply appreciate that. Either in the open forum or by private message. I hope the friends you made are not in the flood zones.

Today's millenniums don't have a clue as how the Chinese and Russian countries operate. And they damn sure aren't being taught in today's educational systems! I am afraid that they are going to learn it the hard way!

And the older generation is still stuck in a cold War mentality....
