Prove it to yourself, Penny, lay face down on the street and have a 180 pound man put a knee on your neck the other in the middle of your back and hold that for 8 minutes.

Let us know.

Surveillance video of the moments leading up to George Floyd being pinned under a policeman's knee shows that he didn't resist arrest

Blade, That is not on my bucket list...right along with counterfeiting, trying illegal drugs, or drinking. But, thanks for thinking of ways to broaden my life experiences.

WOW, now there are two people that thinks I should die! How very un-American....I should lay down in the street, (mind you I am 70 years old, skinny by American standards (5'9" soaking wet I weigh 119 pounds)), have a 180 pound individual put his knee on my neck, exact position of the knee undetermined, until I die! Why, because I have the nerve to disagree and exercise my GOD GIVEN and Constitutionally assured right to freedom of speech!

Way to go! Death handed out for voicing an opinion.....At 70, I have seen a lot of things...many that fill me with love....some disgusting and appalling...wishing someone to die because they do not agree with an opinion seems to me a new low!!!!

We weren't wishing death upon anyone. Simply suggesting that you test your theory that the knee to Floyd's neck isn't what killed him. If your theory is correct, you should have nothing to worry about.

Would you suspend due process for this cop because of this video?

It's more than this video . .. This cop had 18 complaints against him...This was the last straw that broke the camel's back!! He should of been fired after the 1 st complaint , than maybe this poor man would of been alive today . ...

What about Floyd's history? Was he a "first time offender?" Why is the media silent on his past encounters with the law?

Second question....can you provide a source for the nature and disposition of the "18" complaints?

Observation: If an officer is only a uniform mannequin, does not enforce laws.....that officer will have few or no formal complaints. If an officer is "active" and does the job, that officer will have complaints.

You may want to dig into the history of this officer. Start here https://wikibious.com/derek-chauvin/ and here http://www.minneapolismn.gov/civilrights/policereview/archive/index.htm

I agree he should have been fired before this but we can’t suspend due process. If we do then that sets a dangerous precedent. We can’t let emotion rule.

The officer in question WAS CLEARED of all complaints, except one where he received a letter of reprimand several years ago while he was a rookie. BTW, he also received a medal of valor....but, that will not be mentioned.

His civil rights were suspended days ago.....

How do you know this? By changing his life he went from perhaps selling drugs, mugging, robbery to passing counterfeit money? I can only guess because NO ONE IS running stories on his past. And what a shock, my friends at our police station tells me his criminal record is blocked and even they can not access his records. Is that the changes you had in mind?

So, here we have it....a complete campaign to demonize a police officer and a total blackout on the potential criminal past of Floyd. The records would not be "locked down" unless there is a tainted past. So....how do you know he was changing his life, did he wake up on the day he died and decided he would cash in all his counterfeit money--the last criminal act, and then find Jesus, be absolved of all his sins, and change his ways? Did he leave a letter for you to read? What evidence do you have? Just asking.

The officer had complaints....and if you followed the links, he was absolved of all wrong doing and in ONE case, as a rookie, he was reprimanded. His record is posted by all the media...but Floyd, CRICKETS! And now you claim a deep insight into Floyd's good intentions.
