Right now all we know is what was seen in the video. We do not know the cause of death. It appears that Floyd's mouth and airway was not being obstructed by the officer's knee, so my bet is there was another medical issue. Applying pressure to vagus nerve, located at base of skull, can cause a drop in blood pressure and a temporary loss of contentiousness, a "vassal faint" or Reflex syncope, but not death. This is the reason the restraint is used, it can not k**l.

Granted, the video showed officers "unconcerned" about what was happening and this seemed extreme, but in all cases of cell phone videoing, we do not get the entire picture....in this case, how did Floyd and the officers wind up across the street from Floyd's car? Did he run? If so, it is possible that he put too much exertion on his heart and had a cardiac arrest. Did the exertion cause plaque to dislodge from his artery? If so, he may have suffered a stroke. Too many unknowns and too early to d**g out hangman's nooses to lynch the police.

True, the officers could have just yelled at him to stop running or fighting with them or even just let him walk away....so what if he was draining the bank accounts of his victims.... Would this story made headlines if he had been white???...think Tony Tempie of Texas.

Police officer didn't even paid attention , and the other 3 were just standing there , watching and doing NOTHING !! They just as guilty of murder as that POS is!! So, you think he should have been released because he was in distress? The way he was pinned, nothing was obstructing his breathing and the officer called for an ambulance when he appeared to be in distress. What did you expect the other "3" (in the video there was only 2 other officers, one was told to guard Floyd's car and the Asian) to do? Should they have jerked the officer off of Floyd? Cried? Panicked? Shot, tazze, or kicked their fellow officer? What exactly would you have done in the same place?

The autopsy will show what happened, and the cause of death will not be murder....My guess, Floyd will have drugs in his system and the cause of death will be c****ary failure. Now consider this, had Floyd not have been committing a crime....and not fought with the officer or try to run.....would this excuse for r**ting happen? If Floyd had been white, would this cause a raise of an eyebrow?

My thoughts...one officer will be held over by grand jury for involuntary manslaughter and if it goes to trial will be acquitted. The knee on the neck could not have caused death, medically not possible. Additionally, to prove murder, there has to be intent. I do not see intent, but as of today the officers have been unable to tell their side of the events.....only hysterical media who can not milk the SIF v***s much longer.

Come on,Pennylynn !! That's not what I said at all!! He was handcuffed ,there was no reason for police officer to put his knee on his heck and hold it there for 10 minutes !!! No excuse!! NONE!!!!And yes you can k**l somebody by putting their knee on his neck , especially if you press enough on carotid artery.... The other officers should of stopped him,instead of just looking stupid!!.....And if it was white man who died under these circumstances , you better beleven it there would be stink!!!

First, YOU AVOIDED MY QUESTION. Second, the carotid artery, there are two one on each side of the neck and both would need to be restricted to cause death, and the officer's knee was not even close to either artery. Additionally, the omohyoideus muscle protects the arteries. So, YOU ARE WRONG.

Third, I guess you think a person in handcuffs is defenseless….again, you are wrong. Feet can disable your opponent better than a fist. Teeth can be deadly. So, poor man handcuffed....right!

Records show that the officer's knee was in place less than 10 minutes.
