The officer did not sit on his neck, he kneeled on it. kneeling on a neck is an approved method to control combatant suspects. I expect the incident to be investigated.....but not as a murder, involuntary manslaughter---possible. But, should it go to trial, he will be acquitted. Unless, you can see "intent" to cause harm? I am open to that argument. You may have noticed something I failed to see.

Hell yeah. The others are almost as guilty. All should be charged.

The police chief said kneeling on a neck is NOT proper procedure. I definitely saw intent.

The police chief needs to review his department's handbook. In Minneapolis, kneeling on a suspect’s neck is allowed under the department’s use-of-force policy for officers who have received training in how to compress a neck without applying direct pressure to the airway. It is considered a “non-deadly force option,” according to the department’s policy handbook. Minneapolis Police Department's Policy & Procedure Manual; "Defined as compressing one or both sides of a person’s neck with an arm or leg, without applying direct pressure to the trachea or airway (front of the neck)." See photo, position was correct. If the PC does not agree, then he needs to change the procedures....but, he can not make the change retro-active.

As the law provides, the accuser (state) has the burden of proof BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT of willfulness, Deliberation, AND Premeditation...the officer had to demonstrate that he had a motive, opportunity, and means. Ergo in your world the officer, woke up with a direct plan to kill Floyd, he knew that Floyd would try to pass counterfeit money, he made sure he was the officer who would respond to the call. Then he made sure that Floyd would fight with him and then he deliberately executed his plan by using an approved hold until Floyd died. I am sure you can prove these actions happened right after you prove unicorns defecate skittles. And if the officer knew all this....I need to talk to him about the next Mega Millions numbers!

He was on his stomach with his cuffed behind his back , just that part alone will make it harder to breathe !! You put on top kneeling on his neck and it's a recipe for disaster right there !!

Only they are not "bystanders",they are supposed to protect and to serve! And these officers weren't "protecting or serving"!!

The notion of it being hard to breath if you are on your stomach while handcuffed..... Is this your personal experience talking? Not judging....just curious. There must be some science behind your belief....share your source, please.

Please forgive me if I side with the Chief of Police over a racist such as yourself's judgment. You have deemed yourself an expert on both police and medical matters all in the matter of a few posts. I believe you are full of S and your KFC post proved to all that you are very clearly a racist. I just hope these cops don't get someone w/ your bigoted mindset on their jury. Please do us all a favor and take your "expertise" elsewhere. Or better yet, go crawl back under the rock you came out from. We're not buying your racist BS for a second longer.
