You ask what is more important, national health or money. Well, that view is missing my point entirely. I submit that it isn't a choice between national health or money, it is a choice between national health either way. The money is just to keep people from starving until they get a new job, and the longer we go the worse it will be.
The second part of your argument again advances the chicken and the egg argument. I propose it should be more like giving a man a fish vs teaching him to fish. The blue state governors are the ones who are keeping people from working, almost without exception. If we keep pouring borrowed money into the machine to feed people and not letting them work, we are not only applying a band-aid solution to the problem, we are creating an untenable economic situation. This solution creates no jobs. The only way to attack this problem is to create jobs. We are not creating jobs by throwing money at the situation. The only way to create jobs is to help those who provide the jobs and then the money will come along and the multiplier effect will occur. That $1200 or whatever it is will run out very fast and zero jobs will be created. Then we will be faced with bigger debt and inflation that will hurt the lower economic class most. When I hear what Nancy Pelosi proposes time after time, my blood pressure goes through the ceiling. She has no clue. It is sad that our education system does not teach economics the way it actually works. Oh, by the way, besides inflation, the proposed liberal attack will result in higher taxes which will have to be borne by mostly the middle class. Can you see where this is eventually leading?

Bernie, let me back up and try again..
I think the stimulus was to early and not, yet at least, needed..
big biz, was booming.. the rest of us may have been only so-so, but the big were having a wonderful cycle.. so why were the big guys the original focus of being given a bail out. Every bank in the country would love to have them for customers..
Next, OK,,, why was not the basic safety net sufficient help for the average American??
Do we truly have a huge number of people who need help to survive a few weeks of on the unemployment check?? We were told over and over the country was booming.. did that turn out to be untrue??
What do you picture if the early return creates a surge of new infections?? a second shut down? the orange worrier says no way, never... he is so worried, he will not allow that to mess with his reelection attempt..
what would be worse, a couple more weeks, a slow return or a start all over again 2nd wave?
Create jobs.... all the big boys have to do is open the doors.. the creation/replacements will be done by the small biz. they are the ones needing a boost.. yet the funds without oversight are being handed out to those big boys, who should have the deep pockets and multi resources..
Sure, I am a bit bold on this. No one in my family has lost a job, they are working at home or essential.. the only one is having call back for spring/summer construction delayed week to week..
Pelosi...she must be the most feared of all Democrats for the administration..
I Have not kept track of all the charges by republicans, but I think much of what she has proposed is meant to be so upsetting to republicans that they will not pass the bill with these things in it..
good and mild strategy compared to the direct threats made by the orange thing if they do not do as he tells them...
For now, rain coming later, so I may not be back reading for a while, but have yourself a nice day and I shall return.. like someone said once upon a time..
