Right. Trump told us during the 2016 campaign that he knew more about ISIS than the generals. And the goober goofballs believed him. He knows NOTHING about military matters that are not explained to him in dumbed down terms and pictures.
The only way you can make such a call is if you know more about military matters than the Commander-in-Chief and all of his military advisors. Since you seem to think you do, please enlighten us. We're anxiously awaiting a thorough explanation from a self-appointed expert.

Well stated, indeed! These are parrots, with the same old tired Dumbocrat talking points, doing their best to run down President Trump, because they have zip, to promote Comrade Bernie, or Clueless Biden, with.

I would sail with Captain Crozier any time, any place. A Navy Captain that is willing to put his career on the line to protect his men is my kind of skipper!

Not to diminish captain Crozier's service as a naval aviator and ship's captain, I am wondering how writing a letter of complaint without following chain of command protocols for such a thing protected anyone. And, your perspective on what constitutes courage is seriously flawed.

Though flying off aircraft carriers takes a certain amount of guts, the highest award captain Crozier earned is the Legion of Merit, and that medal is not awarded for courage or valor or gallantry in action or anything above and beyond the call of duty - Captain Crozier earned no Navy Cross, DFC, bronze or silver star, nothing even approaching the MOH. But if writing a letter that can be forged into a weapon against the Commander-in-Chief is your kind of courage, then you have serious issues that have nothing to do with courage.

I served in the Navy also, and I never had a choice of commanding officers with whom to serve.

Crozier was relieved of command, not fired, right? Does that mean he stays in the Navy but does something more "menial"? And if you disobeyed the chain of command, what would have happened to you?

Thanks.

Possibility of a full-blown mental case, take some time off and go for a check-up.

Yes, Emily, Crozier was relieved of command. Such an action is not uncommon in military service. Off the top of my head, I can think of dozens of instances in which top military commanders were relieved of command and in many cases for reasons even less serious than Crozier's blunder. The penalties or disciplinary measures taken against these officers varies.

Apart from captain Crozier's blunder in not following chain of command protocols, he tested positive for the virus and that alone was reason enough to relieve him of command.

What in the name of Sam Hill does "the wall" have to do with any of this?

A border wall, between the U.S. and Mexico was never expected to go up, in a few months and it may be outfitted with one way toll gates, for every truck bringing in goods. there is much to be decided by those that have a need to know and you are not in that loop, at this time, kemmer!

What the heck does that have to do with the topic at hand???

Sigh......I'll answer anyway. Illegal immigrant crossings nationwide were down almost 80%, and at the Arizona-Mexico border, and illegal crossings were down by 94% before the border was completely shut down due to the coronavirus. Once-overcrowded dorms, where we house illegal border crossers, are now empty. And Mexico is keeping illegals who demand asylum on their side of the border. Before the virus and faced with tariffs and economic ruin, Mexican officials agreed to place thousands of troops, at their expense, at both their northern and southern borders. Trump won a masterful negotiation with Mexico. He understood Mexico needs us far more than we need it. We could make its economy crumble in a nanosecond, and Mexico is well aware of that.

So you can deny, criticize, insult and have a tantrum getting your pretty little panties (what color panties do you like....rainbow colors?) in a wad...but you might want to stop beating that dead horse before you look more of a fool than you already are.

Great insight of yourself! Admitting one's faults is the first step in recognizing the bullshit artist that you are....good for you!
