I believe I remember some of your previous posts and I seem to remember a bit of intelligence so let me say a few things. First of all, the worn out meme that he saved the whole crew is totally false. Despite the Captain's actions, 600 personnel still became infected. Making the absurd assumption that, in the absence of Crozier's actions the Navy would have taken no actions at all for another month and all the 4000 crew had become infected, then Crozier's actions would have prevented 3400 people from becoming infected, not the "whole crew". Note I say becoming infected when the meme is that he "saved the whole crew", a phrase that insinuates their fate without his action would have been death. In fact, since the death rate for the vast majority of the crew who are younger than 35 with no underlying serious health problems is about 0.01%, the Captain's actions would have saved about 4 crew members IF every one of the 3400 became infected, which they are not going to be. And lastly, as I mentioned, the Navy was in the process of figuring out what to do about the infections, would have shortly done exactly what was done and very few of the remaining 3400 crew would have become infected even if Crozier had done nothing. Having the whole crew support you in an insubordinate act is NOT effective leadership; that and the Captain's actions are signs that the Navy's training standards have slipped to the point where those crewmembers placed their own personal comfort (remember, this is not like the plague with this group of very healthy, very young people) above the mission and that, in my book, is unacceptable.
