Admittedly Trump was out of line. However, your boy Chuck crossed a much bigger line. Our Judges, as much as we sometimes despise their verdicts, must have at least the appearance of being free of threats. Schumer is not just some yokel on the streets whipping up a mob. He is the Senate Minority Leader.

I disagree - he was not out of line. He has every right to say he believes they should recuse themselves for the reasons previously noted. And he is correct.

I recently heard someone use the phrase, "specious argument". I pretty much knew what it meant but today I googled it anyway just to be sure. After reading about Senator Schumer's backing away from his angry outburst over the proposed requirement that abortionists have hospital admitting privilege, it occurred to me that the pro-choice arguments are specious and those that voice these arguments probably feel frustrated, trapped, perhaps even guilty and hence the anger.

Ethics Committee? When's the last time any politician was Punished or had any Consequences for what ever violation they committed?
