Now that you mention it... on the other hand, why would you want to get into a CA University?
Wouldn't...
Although Caltech is still a very desirable university..

Excellent points Tucker...
Over here Early Childhood education requires more licensing... People put a lot of pressure on preschool and kindergarten teachers...
Education is one field where unions should never be allowed... My cousin in BC fights with his union constantly... Over voting and school policies... And he refuses to strike.. Although he legally has to go along with them... Idiotic..
If the teachers in Vancouver decide they need higher salaries or more vacation time, the teachers in the kootenays are required to follow suit...
And as for protecting teachers, the unions will protect a shitty teacher who toes the line, while demonizing a decent teacher who pulls him weight... My best friend had to defend himself for telling a gay boy not to apply makeup during class time... He almost lost his job because he was "homophobic"... And he was covering three subjects in an under funded school... Couldn't believe he didn't quit... But he had just purchased a home and had a kid.. So he wound up apologizing for his bigotry
Excellent points Tucker... br br Over here Early... (

I've seen it far too many times. I am fed up with the PC crowd in Public Education. What happened to the pursuit of universal truths for its' own sake instead of filling kids' heads with a bunch of PC feel-good crapola?

Like American colleges that ban conservative speakers?
Any chance you can name the colleges that ban conservative speakers?
Are you suggesting that colleges don’t have the right to allow, or not allow whatever speaker they wish?
Do yo think an oral Roberts, or falwell’s college would invite Mayor Pete to speak at their universities?
Are you suggesting that the gubment should be scheduling/deciding what speakers universities invite?
What is it with Republicans that you all so hate the Constitution? Contrary to what republicans are fond of saying, the USA is not a Christian nation, it is however a nation that allows Christians to worship the Living God, just as they do Jews, Hindu, Muslims, and even the likes of “Branch Davidion’s”, etc.
The Constitution FORBIDS the instituting a state religion!
Of course this is only my not so humble opinion, but mainstream Christians are the dust that the Christ Jesus said we can shake from our feet, and walk away!

Yep...
The first and most important step would be getting rid of teacher unions....
How they are allowed to donate to candidates is beyond my understanding...

I doubt if I could get accepted into a California university.... I just can't see me passing the diversity test...
"I think Rosa Parks and Rush Limbaugh both deserved their awards..."
And I'm rejected
There are some things that are GOOD to be rejected from. California colleges and funny farms come to mind

Drunk?
How did you get into the Constitution and separation of state and religion?
And yes, I think conservative institutes would be happy to let Mayor Pete speak... Especially if he were invited by the student body...

I just can't abide men in white coats. Personal preference, I guess. And straight jackets make my butt look big

Even Berkeley has seen a shift to the right in recent years among its' students, although the outspoken minority left on the campus are still a bunch of loudmouth 1960s wannabe radicals. Even their chants are stuck in the 1960s.
"Hey hey, ho ho, liberalism has got to go!"
"What do we want? Free college! When do we want it? Now!"
Time for some new material.

Woohoo now I like that one!!!!! Thank You too Peewee, just calling it as I see it~~🥰
And yes, Valentines Day coming~~
You're such an artist, lamps and now glasses upside down with candles on the tops over roses. Must say you do have a knack for making things beautiful. Almost as beautiful as pajama-grams with attractive women inside them, not wearing shades and smiling. Works of arts are up to the beholder, I guess. Happy Valentines my friend 💖 😘.

Nothing wrong with a car that has decent trunk space

Isn't the entire World a funny farm? Although, many people believe that God is an intergalactic high school student and the earth is his project submission into a student science fair.

Right off the bat, UC Berkeley had to shut down and also disinvite conservative speakers at the campus.
