Me three and we will. We will win the Presidency and the Senate and Ted Cruz said there will be no shortage of hearings and this time there will be jail time. I hope it is like the McCarthy era. But these minions are like martyrs. They will follow their Messiah to a cot in a box for him. No accounting for love is there? Live Love from the great Republic of Texas!
The Constitution is as relevant today as it was then. They fought a war over taxation without representation, which is just what Obamacare is, calling it a fine instead of a tax. Cloture should be taken off of the books. It was a bargain to stop all discussion of a bill and vote on it in return for not using the nuclear option. They did and we still have it on our books. It should be long gone. Samuel Adams, not the beer, said, If ye love wealth better than freedom, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were ever our countrymen."(written in 1776). That is as relevant a contest as we are running at this very moment. Entitlements for your freedom. No wonder Obama does not want us to know what the Constitution says. I, for one, carry a purse-sized copy in my purse at all times, so when some ignorant fool says something ignorant, I can pull out my copy! I also went to that seminar in Houston given by the Campaign for Liberty and it was from 8-5 But we sure learned some dirty tricks to play on our opponents. I enjoyed every moment of that seminar. Now, I am taking Constitution 101 and have just paid for the book--a "donation" which is pretty fair, considering it is a beautiful 669 pages and the online class will count as a college course in political science. Not that I need any more credits. 8 yrs was enough. But I think I will be a lot better informed if I know something about how everything went down and why. Live Love from the great Republic of Texas. My father always told me when I was a hippie, don't just bitch, do something. so I bought the book, Revolution for the Hell of it. By Abbie Hoffman. Boy was my father pissed when he got a call from the Pentagon saying that they had received "non patriotic" verbiage from someone at that telephone number! Well, he told me to do something. I also never stood up for the Pledge of Allegiance because I was protesting what I felt was an illegal war and every one in the class understood why. Now these simpletons do not even know or care who Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi is. They will when they get their first paycheck!

I am on lesson 8 of the course and I bought the book too. It has been 8 weeks and the book hasn't arrived. I called and was told it was about to be shipped. The lecture on "The Progressives and the Constitution was most fascinating and informative and educational. I just finished Carl Rove's "Courage and Consequence." A fascinating book a great read if you want to know about what went on inside the WH during the Bush years.
