The Constitution is as relevant today as it was then. They fought a war over taxation without representation, which is just what Obamacare is, calling it a fine instead of a tax. Cloture should be taken off of the books. It was a bargain to stop all discussion of a bill and vote on it in return for not using the nuclear option. They did and we still have it on our books. I also went to that seminar in Houston given by the Campaign for Liberty and it was from 8-5 But we sure learned some dirty tricks to play on our opponents. I enjoyed every moment of that seminar. Now, I am taking Constitution 101 and have just paid for the book--a "donation" which is pretty fair, considering it is a beautiful 669 pages and the online class will count as a college course in political science.
