The RNC Committee filed a lawsuit against the IRS Tuesday -appropriately, tax day- seeking records related to the Tea Party targeting scandal that was filed under the Freedom Of Information Act that was never fulfilled.

If the IRS and Obama administration don't have anything to hide, they should honor this request ASAP, I should think.

History has just been made! The RNC finally did something right after all these years of screwing around. I hope they win and win BIG! I hope it results in the IRS being dismantled forever.

I believe the RNC realized that too many people were sick and tired of their RINO tactics and that they are in for a big fall. I also believe this is too littler too late for them to rec**p their crooked ways. Too many people are now backing Tea Party candidates and are registering independent. I know my husband and I have.

The reason we cannot impeach Obama is because the Democrats hold the majority in the Senate and it is the Senate who brings charges or if it is the Congress, they have to have a 2/3 v**e in the Senate, and with all of Obama's minions in the Senate, that would be quite impossible as long as he keeps declaring "I didn't know." We have to have his hand in the cookie jar as we did with Nixon. Only Nixon's bungled burglars were the first to rat him out. Obama's people, as with Lois Lerner, are quite ready to play the martyr for him. So everyone who cries, lets impeach him, it isn't up to us. It is up the Senate as in the Declaration of Independence, it plainly says that "The Senate shall have the sole power to try all impeachments. And no person shall be convicted without the concurrence of two thirds of the members present." And that is the reason that Obama is still in office! Live Love from the great Republic of Texas!

I don't think obummer can stand the heat if the GOP will just stand up and impeach him in the house. Come Jan 2015 when the new senate get seated, then we will see what happens.

If the Repubs can take the Senate in 2014, while retaining the House, I fully expect to see impeachment proceedings against Obama to get underway.

The House brings the charges, the Senate tries the president, but otherwise you are correct. All bringing charges will do is give Obama his one chance in a bought off court and then the charges cannot be retried. The Dems wish this happens now.

This was pushed through by Ron Paul. The RNC wanted to still just waffle around and do nothing but Ron Paul embarrassed them into it.

Me three and we will. We will win the Presidency and the Senate and Ted Cruz said there will be no shortage of hearings and this time there will be jail time. I hope it is like the McCarthy era. But these minions are like martyrs. They will follow their Messiah to a cot in a box for him. No accounting for love is there? Live Love from the great Republic of Texas!
The Constitution is as relevant today as it was then. They fought a war over taxation without representation, which is just what Obamacare is, calling it a fine instead of a tax. Cloture should be taken off of the books. It was a bargain to stop all discussion of a bill and v**e on it in return for not using the nuclear option. They did and we still have it on our books. It should be long gone. Samuel Adams, not the beer, said, If ye love wealth better than freedom, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were ever our countrymen."(written in 1776). That is as relevant a contest as we are running at this very moment. Entitlements for your freedom. No wonder Obama does not want us to know what the Constitution says. I, for one, carry a purse-sized copy in my purse at all times, so when some ignorant fool says something ignorant, I can pull out my copy! I also went to that seminar in Houston given by the Campaign for Liberty and it was from 8-5 But we sure learned some dirty tricks to play on our opponents. I enjoyed every moment of that seminar. Now, I am taking Constitution 101 and have just paid for the book--a "donation" which is pretty fair, considering it is a beautiful 669 pages and the online class will count as a college course in political science. Not that I need any more credits. 8 yrs was enough. But I think I will be a lot better informed if I know something about how everything went down and why. Live Love from the great Republic of Texas. My father always told me when I was a hippie, don't just b***h, do something. so I bought the book, Revolution for the Hell of it. By Abbie Hoffman. Boy was my father pissed when he got a call from the Pentagon saying that they had received "non patriotic" verbiage from someone at that telephone number! Well, he told me to do something. I also never stood up for the Pledge of Allegiance because I was protesting what I felt was an illegal war and every one in the class understood why. Now these simpletons do not even know or care who Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi is. They will when they get their first paycheck!

But didn't Harry Reid just change the 2/3 v**e to a simple majority?

Even crooked Senators can be recalled, you know.
