I have found in my dealings with my brothers and sisters in Christ that while there may be differences of opinion on non-essentials, when it comes to the essentials of the faith, we are in complete agreement.
This saying comes to mind: In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity.
However, if "your truth" doesn't include the essentials of the Christian faith, you are a false teacher who is involved in error.
I believe it does include the essentials of the heart of Christ and not some popular and comfortable faith.
