Sanctuary cities should have to register all their illegals. Then if they don't all of the demorat leaders and all illegals are rounded up and sent to Gitmo where food rationing and small cages are set up for them.

Skip step 1 and go right to step 2.

Owning and driving a car is a privilege, owning a gun is a RIGHT. See the difference? Mike

Owning a car is NOT a privilege - it is a right.

Driving a car is NOT a privilege - it is a right.

While the Virginia governor is on a gun grabbing crusade the people are fighting for their second amendment rights. Vast numbers of cities and counties are declaring themselves second amendment sanctuary locales. The latest is Portsmouth, Virginia. On the night of the vote one of the council members who is a second amendment advocate came to the meeting with an AR-15. Of course, the liberal members flipped out, but the motion passed anyway. Don't you just love it? Now let the liberal anti- Constitution posters on OPP go nuts.

you register your car don't you? it shows ownership, if your registered gun was stolen as with your car then you are not liable for the actions of said car or said gun, am I missing something here? if so please enlighten me

Yea yea, Democrats are concerned that your guns may be stolen and they want to help you get them back. I once worked for a company that put in GPS and they said, this is not to keep tabs on you. No it is for your protection in case someone falsely accuses you of being involved in something, we can prove you weren't there. Shortly afterward we would get questioned as to why we were here, there, for how long, etc.

Do not urinate on me and tell me it is raining.

my point was registering guns and registering your car, not talking about removal of guns , read the text and get a life , I am a gun owner also

Nobody registers guns around my neighborhood. Some of my neighbors carry Ned Buntline specials. Those are the .45 revolvers that have long barrels.

If an armed assailant breaks into your house you cannot protect your family by running over him with your car. Yes, you are missing a lot.

JimPack just answered you. What they don't know won't hurt you. As to how I'll proceed this is strategy. They want gunshots so they can confiscate the guns I'm gonna use a triad if I can stay away from shooting. Triad is a chokehold, the guy goes down in seconds. Use any chokehold. I've never found a suppressor that really works. Do you have to worry? Well, watch his hands for a knife otherwise no.

but are there good background checks?

Ehh probably. I was killed in a car wreck in London, or so an obituary for another Robert Polans says. That's how they can slip up. Now all the time I'm free or 'dead' so to speak. But yes there are good background checks if the seller is doing a good job.

In Florida you can buy a gun from someone else privately. You don’t have to re-register. But you are correct. Someone registered the gun originally.

Not necessarily, my guns are hand me downs never registered, my dad had the same mistrust of the government I do. A little less, but same idea. So mine were never registered except one my pride and joy my brother Shawn gave me a Sunspot Henry w/bolt action and a scope. Perfect for snipers.

"Insane" and "border insane" (whatever that is) is very problematic.

Technically, for a person to be considered "insane" means they have been evaluated by appropriate physician(s), and then brought before a judge for a competency hearing. If then are to be determined "insane" then they are already prohibited from possessing firearms.

There is no such thing as "border insane".

Gun registration will not prevent 'insane' people from getting a gun.

Actually, the mass shootings are done by insane or on psychotropic drugs that's your border insane.

Let’s go ahead a register EVERYTHING you own. That way, if you kill or maim somebody, with any item you own, the government can identify the item and trace it back to you.

BTW, are you paying PP (personal property) tax on your power tools and riding lawnmower? If you do, they’re registered.....that is, if your state has PP tax. If you aren’t paying, you’re a criminal.

So, do you think if you registered your firearms, the next governmental step would be to tax them? Probably.

This would include hammers, kitchen knives, adjustable wrenches, fireplace pokers.....well, everything you own.....especially those things you might whack somebody with.

DO YOU SUPPOSE THIS GOVERNMENTAL BEHAVIOR WOULD HAVE AN IMPACT ON YOUR LIBERTIES?
Let’s go ahead a register EVERYTHING you own. Tha... (show quote)

I don't pay a PP tax and wouldn't. I don't even have a cell phone too easy to trace. Of course it would impact my freedoms they'd be gone.

And the West Virginia Governor has asked all counties in Virginia to defect from the Blackface State and become part of the great state of West Virginia. Wow, can Northam hang onto his county, the only one that will be left for him to be a totalitarian a-whole ruler over???

Wow, I love that idea. So let him be a tyrant of...nothing. Trump already refused to let the UN forces on there.
