I responded to you earlier, but it appears you ignored my question. Why?
Why do you feel that 'registration' is of any value?
I would suggest one examine the Canadian experience with gun registration: Costs far more than expected; debatable efficacy - even among the police themselves; and gun confiscation.

In Florida you can buy a gun from someone else privately. You don’t have to re-register. But you are correct. Someone registered the gun originally.
American Vet, I have read the article published by the NRA , but perhaps there would be a easier way, register your car and gun at the same time, your gun has a title and you give the title when selling it, we register ATV right?

Thanks for the info. But the question is: Why do you think gun registration is of any value?
Here is an article from Forbes about gun registration - specifically Canada.
"Universal registration has been tried in several countries, most recently in Canada. The program turned out to be far more expensive than expected and didn't have any discernable impact on crime, perhaps because long guns are used so rarely by criminals in the first place."

"Insane" and "border insane" (wh**ever that is) is very problematic.
Technically, for a person to be considered "insane" means they have been evaluated by appropriate physician(s), and then brought before a judge for a competency hearing. If then are to be determined "insane" then they are already prohibited from possessing firearms.
There is no such thing as "border insane".
Gun registration will not prevent 'insane' people from getting a gun.

Let’s go ahead a register EVERYTHING you own. That way, if you k**l or maim somebody, with any item you own, the government can identify the item and trace it back to you.
BTW, are you paying PP (personal property) tax on your power tools and riding lawnmower? If you do, they’re registered.....that is, if your state has PP tax. If you aren’t paying, you’re a criminal.
So, do you think if you registered your firearms, the next governmental step would be to tax them? Probably.
This would include hammers, kitchen knives, adjustable wrenches, fireplace pokers.....well, everything you own.....especially those things you might whack somebody with.
DO YOU SUPPOSE THIS GOVERNMENTAL BEHAVIOR WOULD HAVE AN IMPACT ON YOUR LIBERTIES?

While the Virginia governor is on a gun grabbing crusade the people are fighting for their second amendment rights. Vast numbers of cities and counties are declaring themselves second amendment sanctuary locales. The latest is Portsmouth, Virginia. On the night of the v**e one of the council members who is a second amendment advocate came to the meeting with an AR-15. Of course, the liberal members flipped out, but the motion passed anyway. Don't you just love it? Now let the liberal anti- Constitution posters on OPP go nuts.

And the West Virginia Governor has asked all counties in Virginia to defect from the Blackface State and become part of the great state of West Virginia. Wow, can Northam hang onto his county, the only one that will be left for him to be a totalitarian a-whole ruler over???

you register your car don't you? it shows ownership, if your registered gun was stolen as with your car then you are not liable for the actions of said car or said gun, am I missing something here? if so please enlighten me
I*****l a***ns don't register do they??? Are they responsible for their illegal actions? Hardly, the sanctuary state of California even gives them drivers licenses to v**e. If i******s have so called privileges why are you opposing legal 2nd amendment God given priviledges?? Your ideology is full of holes. Give up your insane l*****t bs and become a better citizen or else ship off to Cuba.

I’m not worried about the Democrats wanting my car. They are constantly talking about confiscating guns. See Virginia. If they don’t know you have it, they won’t come get it.
So true, the totalitarian demonrats want more than your gun. They will then want you to register your house, all assets, your kids, your wife, your pets, and then confiscate your property and pass it on to some i*****l a***ns if you don't follow all their insane laws to a "T". They love the criminal more than the American citizen.

If they can have sanctuary cities for i******s . Then 2 can play the game!
Sanctuary cities should have to register all their i******s. Then if they don't all of the demorat leaders and all i******s are rounded up and sent to Gitmo where food rationing and small cages are set up for them.

Owning and driving a car is a privilege, owning a gun is a RIGHT. See the difference? Mike
