The reduction of CO2 and other greenhouse gases will reduce the effect of CC.. not overnight.. but in due course.. just as the excess carbon took from the beginning of the industrial age to reach the point we are now, the time to reduce the effect will also require time..

The hole in the Ozone needed 30 years to show the healing.. that was a minor part of the CC and what we have to do now is get some headway before we are at a "too late to stop it" tipping point..

we are close to that tipping point and we see the effect of CC every day. even in your back yard if you simply look..

Also, try to remember that Global Warming is part of Climate change and we have not simply had a name change for the same thing.. 2 problems, one triggered by the other..

Scuse me while I grope back to consciousness. You threw me for a loop. I never expected you to actually answer me.

So anywho there is no way to measure whether a drastic reduction in CO2 emissions will affect anything ? So again, lets us say we do just exactly what you so humbly request. Okay. Now afterward, no matter what happens, there will be no way to accurately determine if it is working.

Because---------------------if things drastically improve there is no way to know they were not going to get better on their on. Now lets us say that things continue to get worse or worser, then YOU will simply say that things were so bad that it will take way way way longer to fix because we went over the tipping point.

Am I right or am I right ?-? I mean there ain't no alternative Earth on the opposite side of the Sun, that we can use as a control in our lil experiment.

However, we will be able to measure the political and economic harm that comes from Saving the Planet. Fossil fuels are what has made the population increase to what is it, 8 Billion or so possible? YOU pull that rug out from under everyone and if you think Global Freakin Warming is a terrible thing, you ain't seen nothin yet.

One who exhibits symptoms of mental degeneration but is not positively insane; a semi-insane person; a crank: a term used by Lombroso to designate a semi-insane person whose ideas and aims (often of a literary or artistic character), while they may simulate those of talent and even of genius, are marked by radical absurdities which the patient is unable, through mental weakness, to perceive.
n. A person of congenitally abnormal mind bordering on insanity or degeneracy.
adj. Displaying erratic behavior

According to this web site records didn’t actually be considered official until 1870. Do you have something to back up your statement or did you just pull it out of air! According to my information your decade would be the warmest out of 15 decades. Not very long as time goes! Especially considering that at one time Africa was once a lush garden! Climate Change is an ongoing process ALWAYS changing! Our planet has gone through many many different changes! Is does not prove that MAN has had any effect on the changes!

Follow the money!!! Al Gore made how many millions before he had to backtrack on his Global Warming claims after they were proven to be lies? Millions of dollars have been made off of this one huge lie!

Study prophecy and you will learn that Climate Change or Global Warming does not destroy our planet!

Anyone saying there isn't climate change amidst all the science is going the way of the dinosaurs. And dragging the rest of the population with them.

Probably the point of the climate change hoax. Prognosticators have been howling about overpopulation for 60 years. This way we kill ourselves

Peg, last I checked plants and animals grow better in a warm situation as opposed to a frigid situation. It's also easier to cool yourself in 90-100* weather than to warm yourself in -10-20* weather. Mike

What's being said is that it's not man made. The volcano erupting in several places right now are putting more pollutants in the atmosphere than man has done since the beginning of the industrial revolution. Mike

aria Clemens took time off from her post-college summer job on a Montana ranch to hike into this national park to see a glacier. β€œI don’t like it,” she pronounced on the trail as she returned. β€œIt’s just kind of sad to see.”

Her displeasure is over the ever-shrinking glaciers that gave this park its name. There were about 150 of them in 1850, now there are about 25, and they are projected to be gone before Ms. Clemens reaches her 40s.

The looming ice rivers have been ravaged by the changing climate. Glaciologists have penciled in 2030 for the glaciers’ obituary, though some ice may linger a bit. As the last surviving glaciers shrivel into shaded folds of the mountains, snow whipping over the Continental Divide may give them β€œa little lease on life just at the very end,” says Dan Fagre, a glacier expert at the United States Geological Survey. But, he says, β€œit won’t change the ultimate prognosis.”

I understand that about ten thousand years ago my entire nation was one big glacier... Must have been gorgeous... A solid field of ice from sea to shining sea...

Then some bastards global warmed it to all hell and left us with nothing but prestine lakes, endless forests, and boring farmland...

I may not ever get over the ignorance and callousness of those stone Age dicks...

And don't even get me started on those fools who thought it would be a good idea to hunt mammoths to extinction... The perfect combination of elephant and Slatten... Probably tasty as all hell... But I'll never know...

Seems we just never learn...
